PHILIPPINES DOESN'T WANT TO BE USED FOR U.S. FREEDOM OF NAVIGATION MISSIONS
The Philippines has again thumbed its nose at the U.S., its longtime 弁護 同盟（する）, 説 it won't be used as a springboard for U.S. ships and 計画（する）s 行為／行うing 操作／手術s that challenge 中国 in the South 中国 Sea.
弁護 長官 Delfin Lorenzana said that the Philippines will not 許す its 領土 to be used as a 行う／開催する／段階ing ground for U.S. patrols ― a possible 出発 from the 現在の 政策 that 許すs U.S. 航空機, ships and 潜水艦s 接近 to 指定するd Philippine 軍の bases under a 2014 弁護 協定.
Lorenzana said U.S. ships and 計画（する）s can use Guam or Okinawa in Japan for South 中国 Sea 使節団s. But he said they can still 燃料再補給する and 再供給する in the Philippines after 行為／行うing such 作戦行動s, not before.
明言する／公表する Department spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau said she could not comment on Lorenzana's 発言／述べるs as she hadn't seen them, but 追加するd: "Our 固守 to freedom of 航海 is 井戸／弁護士席 known. You know, we will 飛行機で行く, we will sail anywhere within international waters and we will continue that."

US, CHINA REACT TO VIETNAM'S REPORTED ISLAND DREDGING
The 部隊d 明言する／公表するs has called on Vietnam and other claimants to 差し控える from reclamation and militarization activities in contested South 中国 Sea waters に引き続いて 報告（する）／憶測s that Hanoi has carried out dredging on one of the features it 占領するs in the Spratlys.
明言する／公表する Department spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau told reporters that the U.S. is aware of the 報告（する）／憶測s.
"We have 終始一貫して 警告するd that reclamation and militarization in contested areas of the South 中国 Sea will 危険 運動ing a 動揺させるing and escalatory 傾向. We encourage all claimants to take steps to lower 緊張s and 平和的に 解決する differences," she said.
Vietnam's 政府 has not commented on 衛星 imagery purportedly showing dredging activities inside a channel on Ladd 暗礁, about 15 航海の miles (28 キロメーターs) west of Spratly Island where Hanoi rec ently began 延長するing a 滑走路 and building hangers. It wasn't （疑いを）晴らす if the 最新の activity was meant as 修理 or construction work.
Ladd 暗礁, which is 潜水するd at high tide, has a lighthouse, which also serves as ４半期/4分の1s for Vietnamese 軍隊／機動隊s.
中国's Foreign 省 広報担当者 Lu Kang 勧めるd Vietnam to "尊敬（する）・点 中国's 主権，独立 and 権利s, stop 違法な 侵略 and construction activities, and not to take 活動／戦闘s that could 複雑にする the 状況／情勢."
He repeated Friday that 中国 has "indisputable 主権，独立" over the South 中国 Sea.

CHINA WARNS BRITAIN AGAINST SOUTH CHINA SEA PATROLS
中国 has 反応するd 怒って to Britain's 告示 that its four 台風 闘士，戦闘機 jets on a training visit to Japan will patrol the skies over the East and South 中国 sea, where Beijing is embroiled in 領土の 論争s with neighbors.
The British 外交官／大使 in Washington, Kim Darroch, also said last week that his 政府 計画（する）s to 行為／行う freedom of 航海 操作／手術s 伴う／関わるing its newest 航空機 運送／保菌者, the HMS Queen Elizabeth, when it becomes 操作の in 2020. He said that Britain "絶対 株" the U.S. 客観的な to 保護する freedom of 航海 in what it considers international waters にもかかわらず 中国's （人命などを）奪う，主張するing 事実上 the entire South 中国 Sea as its 領土.
中国's 明言する／公表する-run Xinhua News 機関, in an opinion piece, said Darroch was perhaps trying to impress his Japanese 同僚 and that his 発言／述べるs create the impression that London may soon deviate from "a 大部分は aloof 態度" toward the South 中国 Sea 問題／発行する and start to meddle like the U.S. and Japan.
"Should a British 軍用機 乗る，着手する on a so -called 'freedom of 航海' 使節団 in the South 中国 Sea, it would only serve to その上の 複雑にする the 問題／発行する and 重さを計る on 栄えるing 中国-Britain 関係," Xinhua said.

CHINA ADDS SECOND CRUISE IN THE PARACELS
中国 is 追加するing a second 巡航する ship to the Paracel Islands, a 熱帯の 楽園 of pristine beaches and little else.
The new 巡航する ship called Nanhai Zhi Meng will start its maiden four-day voyage in late December from Sanya, a port on southern Hainan Island, to Yinyu, Quanfu and Yagong islands in the Paracels, which are also （人命などを）奪う，主張するd by Vietnam and Taiwan, 明言する／公表する-run Xinhua News 機関 報告（する）／憶測d.
The first 巡航する was 開始する，打ち上げるd in April 2013 and so far has attracted 23,000 Chinese tourists.
