New Zealand leader has 'sensible, polite' talk with Trump
WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) ― New Zealand's 総理大臣 法案 English said Tuesday he told 大統領 Donald Trump during a phone call that he 同意しないd with his travel and 難民 禁止（する） but that the conversation remained 友好的な.
Last week Trump had a testy 交流 with Australia's 総理大臣 Malcolm Turnbull over a 取引，協定 Australia reached with the Obama 行政 to 再定住させる 難民s in the U.S. Trump later tweeted that the 取引，協定 was "dumb."
By contrast, English told 無線で通信する New Zealand that his 15-minute call with Trump on Monday was a "sensible, polite discussion" that 断言するd the good 関係 between the countries.

English said he told Trump he 同意しないd with the contested travel 禁止（する） but didn't berate him over it.
"I'm not there to scold him, although a lot of people might like us to do that," English said.
English told the 無線で通信する 駅／配置する that they also discussed 中国 and North Korea.
"明確に the U.S. 大統領，／社長 has some 見解（をとる）s about 中国, 特に over 貿易（する）, over the South 中国 Sea," English said.
He said Trump told him it was important that countries work together to 確実にする North Korea did not 原因（となる） trouble.
Australia and New Zealand are part of the "Five 注目する，もくろむs" 知能-株ing program with Canada, Britain and the U.S.
English said he told Trump it was important that the U.S. 持続する its presence and 利益／興味 in the Asia-太平洋の area, 特に after pulling out of a 地域の 貿易（する） 取引，協定.
