共和国の/共和党のs mum as Trump 可決する・採択するs Obama 策略

WASHINGTON (AP) ― It was only a few months ago when 共和国の/共和党のs routinely 爆破d the 大統領,/社長 for what they called his (n)役員/(a)執行力のある overreach and his 失敗 to tout America's 優越 over other nations. Not so much anymore.

Now that Barack Obama is out of the White House, 共和国の/共和党のs have become noticeably 静かな on a host of 問題/発行するs that used to 誘発する their 批評.

In the last few days, 大統領 Donald Trump's 活動/戦闘s have thrown the スポットライト on three things 共和国の/共和党のs don't seem to mind now that their fellow 共和国の/共和党の is in 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金:

RELYING ON EXECUTIVE ACTION:

For years, 共和国の/共和党のs skewered Obama for 恐らく 判決,裁定 by fiat, 告発する/非難するing him of 事実上の/代理 like an "emperor" for using (n)役員/(a)執行力のある orders to 押し進める through his 協議事項. That was 特に true when it (機の)カム to Obama's 決定/判定勝ち(する) to 保護する from 国外追放 more than 700,000 young 移民,移住(する)s who were brought to the U.S. as children.

But now that Trump is in the White House, their tune has changed.

Trump has spent his first weeks in office relying on (n)役員/(a)執行力のある 活動/戦闘 to make good on a long 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) of (選挙などの)運動をする 約束s. Most 議論の的になる: His order 一時停止するing the country's 難民 program and 封鎖するing 移民/移住 from seven 大多数-イスラム教徒 countries, which is now held up in 法廷,裁判所.

Asked recently if 大統領 Trump was doing the same thing as Obama, House (衆議院の)議長 Paul Ryan scoffed.

"It's やめる the opposite," he told reporters at a 最近の GOP 退却/保養地, arguing that Obama had 越えるd his 力/強力にする and that Trump was 単に trying to 逆転する it.

"He's 回復するing the proper balance," said Ryan. "And in our opinion he is undoing a lot of 損失 that was done by the last 大統領,/社長, who 越えるd his 力/強力にする."

FAILING TO EMBRACE AMERICAM EXCEPTIONALISM:

It was a running 主題 during Obama's 任期: The 大統領,/社長, 共和国の/共和党のs would argue, failed to embrace a brand of "American exceptionalism" that sees the U.S. as morally superior to other nations.

"We have a 大統領,/社長 権利 now who th 署名/調印するs America's just another nation," once-GOP 大統領の 候補者 Mitt Romney said during a 2011 最初の/主要な 審議. "America is an exceptional nation."

Obama defended himself, 説 in 2014 that he believed "in American exceptionalism with every 繊維 of my 存在."

Trump doesn't seem worried about the 批評.

In an interview with Fox News Channel's 法案 O'Reilly that 空気/公表するd over the 週末, Trump 解任するd 関心s about befriending ロシアの 大統領 Vladimir Putin.

"But he's a 殺し屋 though. Putin's a 殺し屋," O'Reilly said.

"We've got a lot of 殺し屋s," Trump 答える/応じるd. "Boy, you think our country's so innocent?"

圧力(をかける)d on the 交流 in an interview with CBS'S "直面する the Nation," 副大統領 マイク Pence つまずくd on the question of whether he and the 大統領,/社長 think America is morally superior to Russia.

But he 結局 said: "I believe that the ideals that America has stood for throughout our history 代表する the highest ideals of humankind."

CRITICIZING THE JUDICIARY:

In 2010, 大統領 Obama 配達するd a rare, in-person rebuke of the 最高裁判所. During his 明言する/公表する of the Union speech, with 司法(官)s sitting in the audience, Obama 非難するd the 法廷,裁判所's 決定/判定勝ち(する) in the 国民s 部隊d (選挙などの)運動をする 財政/金融 事例/患者.

Obama opened his 発言/述べるs by 説 his 批評 was "with all 予定 deference to 分離 of 力/強力にするs," but then argued the 判決,裁定 逆転するd "a century of 法律" that would open the floodgates to money from special 利益/興味s.

Critics decried the move as a 違反 of decorum that politicized the 法廷,裁判所.

And Trump has 開始する,打ち上げるd his own 不快な/攻撃 against the 司法の 支店 with personal attacks on the 連邦の 裁判官 who 停止(させる)d his 移民/移住 order.

"The opinion of this いわゆる 裁判官, which essentially takes 法律-施行 away from our country, is ridiculous and will be overturned!" Trump tweeted over the 週末.

上院 大多数 Leader Mitch McConnell said on CNN that it was likely "best to 避ける 非難するing 裁判官s 個々に."

But Pence defended the 大統領,/社長's 活動/戦闘s, telling NBC's "会合,会う the 圧力(をかける)" that "the 大統領,/社長 of the 部隊d 明言する/公表するs has every 権利 to 非難する the other two 支店s of 政府."
