Since 2005, gay couples in Britain have been able to form civil 共同s, which give them the same 合法的な 保護, 採択 and 相続物件 権利s as 異性愛の married partners. Same-sex marriage became 合法的な in 2014.

The couple's lawyer, Karon Monaghan, said Steinfeld and Keidan 手配中の,お尋ね者 "to enter into a 合法的に 規制するd 関係 which does not carry with it patriarchal baggage, which many consider comes with the 会・原則 of marriage."
