AP Photos: Young migrants 生き残る on their own in Serbia
BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) - In an abandoned 倉庫／問屋 in the Serbian 資本／首都 of ベオグラード, Rasool, a 12-year-old from Jalalabad, Afghanistan, has spent the last six months sleeping on the ground, warming himself by 解雇する／砲火／射撃s, にわか雨ing with 冷淡な water and eating meals 分配するd by 援助（する） groups.
"This place is so 冷淡な and dirty, the smoke from 燃やすing 解雇する／砲火／射撃s 傷つけるs my 注目する，もくろむs and 肺s," he said. "I の近くに my 注目する，もくろむs every night and open them in the morning wishing to hear from my 年上の friends that the 国境 is open and leave to be with my cousins in London."
He's の中で dozens of minors, mostly from Afghanistan and Pakistan, living in the 倉庫／問屋 with hundreds of other, older migrants. Their parents sent them alone to Europe in search of better 未来s, but they have been stuck in Serbia, unable to cross the ひどく guarded 国境s of 隣接地の EU nations Croatia and Hungary.

政府s along the いわゆる Balkan 移住 大勝する last year の近くにd 負かす／撃墜する their 国境s as part of 成果／努力s to 茎・取り除く a 抱擁する influx of migrants. 以前, people arrived by boat or land from Turkey, then could walk or take trains or buses and cross 国境s 自由に from eastern Europe to 目的地s in western Europe.
Since 国境s の近くにd last March, thousands of migrants have been 立ち往生させるd in Serbia, waiting for them to 再開する or trying to 捨てる together enough money to 支払う／賃金 smugglers to take them.
Rasool says his mother and father supported his 成果／努力s to leave Afghanistan because the Taliban made it 危険な and he 手配中の，お尋ね者 to 熟考する／考慮する and have a 平和的な life.
"I 行方不明になる my parents so much," he said.
Liaqat, a 12-year-old from Khogyani, Afghanistan, said he left nine months ago, traveling to Pakistan and then on through Iran, Turkey and Bulgaria before arriving in Serbia. He and three new friends do everything together, and he's learned how to cook.
"If we don't cook ourselves we will be hungry," he said, stirring rice, potatoes and onions over the 解雇する／砲火／射撃. "I am hoping to reach Belgium if they open the 国境, a beautiful country where I can be 安全な, 熟考する／考慮する and become a doctor to help people."
Caesar, a 16-year old from Pakistan's 部族の area of Bajaur, 申し込む／申し出d the daily イスラム教徒 afternoon 祈り at the 位置／汚点／見つけ出す where he sleeps in the 倉庫／問屋, then talked about how the minors on their own help take care of each other, with the older ones guiding the younger ones.
"It is difficult to live under these circumstances but still safer than hometowns here we live in 恐れる for our lives," he said.
