Sri Lanka 示すs 8 years since end of 血まみれの civil war
COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AP) - Sri Lanka 示すd the eighth 周年記念日 of the end of its 血まみれの civil war on Friday with much of the 遺産／遺物 and 分割s created by more than ４半期/4分の1-century of 暴力／激しさ still 損なわれていない.
Families are still looking for their 行方不明の 親族s, others 需要・要求するing their land 支援する from 軍の 占領／職業, fishermen asking for sea 接近 封鎖するd by the 海軍, 未亡人s 長，率いるing families and handicapped persons are struggling without 職業s. Rehabilitated ex-反逆者／反逆するs are shunned by a society that once glorified them.
国会議員 Abraham Sumanthiran said "a sense of 不確定 is hanging over the people."

Sumanthiran belongs to the main 政党 代表するing 少数，小数派 Tamils who bore the brunt of the civil war, which ended in May 2009 with the 敗北・負かす of Tamil Tiger 反逆者／反逆するs at the 手渡すs of the Sinhalese-支配するd 政府.
Family members of 政府 兵士s who died in the war paid homage Friday at a war 記念の in Colombo in a 儀式 …に出席するd by 大統領 Maithripala Sirisena. A 法廷，裁判所, however, 閉めだした Tamil 行動主義者s from 持つ／拘留するing a 記念 近づく a monument in the country's former northern war zone to Tamils killed in the fighting, but other 儀式s were carried out 邪魔されない in many parts of the north and east.
Tamils in the north complain that the 政府 continues to have a 激しい 軍の presence there にもかかわらず an absence of 暴力／激しさ since the end of the civil war. But Sirisena 公約するd Friday to 増加する the 軍の's strength.
"Given the 責任／義務 the 政府 has toward 国家の 安全, we would always take steps to 強化する the three 軍隊s," he said. "We must build our 未来 based on past experiences."
People had hoped for better times with the 選挙 of Sirisena, who in 2015 圧倒的に 敗北・負かすd strongman leader Mahinda Rajapaksa, who led the war 成果／努力.
"More than Mahinda Rajapaksa, the people are angry with the 現在の 政府 because the people did not 推定する／予想する him (Rajapaksa) to do any good," said T. Paranthaman, who 作品 with the war-影響する／感情d in the Tamil-大多数 north. "People are getting fed up. There is a lot of 不信 that the Sinhalese-支配するd 政府 is not going to give them anything."
De spite 約束s, the 政府 has not 供給するd answers on the 運命／宿命 of tens of thousands of people who went 行方不明の. 親族s say they 本人自身で 手渡すd them over to the 軍の in the last days of the fighting after the 軍の asked those with the least 関係 to the 反逆者／反逆するs to 降伏する.
No steps have been taken to 設立する a judicial 機械装置 to 調査／捜査する 主張s of serious human 権利s 違反s and war 罪，犯罪s against both the 政府 and Tamil Tiger 反逆者／反逆するs, にもかかわらず 誓約（する）s to the 国際連合 Human 権利s 会議.
Dozens of people 逮捕（する）d on 疑惑 of links to the 反逆者／反逆するs have been 拘留するd for years without 存在 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d and the anti-terror 法律, 非難するd as draconian and which the 政府 約束d to 取って代わる, is still in place.
Sirisena has also given mixed signals about his かかわり合いs, occasionally 説 he wouldn't 起訴する 兵士s who 保護するd the country from the Tamil 反逆者／反逆するs in 恐れる of upsetting 大多数 Sinhalese. The 軍の has been （刑事）被告 of serious 権利s 違反s during the war, 含むing 審議する／熟考する 爆撃する of 非軍事のs and hospitals and 封鎖するing food and 薬／医学 for thousands of people 罠にかける in the war zone.
によれば a U.N 報告（する）／憶測, some 40,000 people are believed to have been killed in just the final months of the fighting.

A Rajapaksa-led 対立 has been 伸び（る）ing ground の中で 大多数 民族の Sinhalese with the スローガン that the Sirisena 政府 has been making too many 譲歩s to the Tamils, betraying the 軍の's hard-fought victories.
"Preoccupied with appearing 愛国的な and worried about dissent and Rajapaksa 現体制支持者／忠臣s in uniform, the 政府 has done little to 改革（する） the 国家の 安全 明言する／公表する or 減ずる the 軍の's かなりの 自治," the International 危機 Group think 戦車／タンク said in a 声明.
It said the sense of grievance 生成するd by the continued 激しい 軍の presence and 欠如（する） of 進歩 in 演説（する）／住所ing the war 遺産／遺物 is 強化するing the 国家主義者 感情s of many Tamils and 増加するing 緊張s with Sinhalese and イスラム教徒s.
The group 警告するd that continued 失敗 by the 政府 to 供給する 地域の 自治 would lead to a growing restlessness and radicalization, which could be felt for １０年間s.
