知事s 用心深い of Medicaid cost 転換 in 上院 health 法案

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - 知事s in several 明言する/公表するs that 選ぶd to 拡大する Medicaid under former 大統領 Barack Obama's health care 法律 are 用心深い of the 上院 共和国の/共和党の 計画(する) to end the 追加するd 連邦の 基金ing for it within seven years.

The 提案 解放(する)d Thursday calls for a slower 段階-out of the Medicaid 拡大 than a 法案 可決する・採択するd earlier by the House. Yet it still would 軍隊 those 明言する/公表するs to 人物/姿/数字 out what to do about the millions of lower-income Americans who used it to 伸び(る) health ニュース報道.

The 疑問s about the 最新の 計画(する) from Washington (機の)カム from 共和国の/共和党のs, 民主党員s and the nation's one 独立した・無所属 知事.

"I have 深い 関心s with 詳細(に述べる)s in the U.S. 上院's 計画(する) to 直す/買収する,八百長をする America's health care system and the 資源s needed to help our most 攻撃を受けやすい, 含むing those who are 取引,協定ing with 麻薬 中毒, mental illness and chronic health problems and have nowhere else to turn," Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a 共和国の/共和党の, said in a Twitter message.

Kasich was part of a group of 共和国の/共和党の and Democratic 知事s who wrote a letter last week to 上院 leaders calling for them to work in a bipartisan way to 改造する the nation's コンビナート/複合体 health 保険 政策s.

Another was Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval, also a 共和国の/共和党の. His 決定/判定勝ち(する) to 拡大する Medicaid has 供給するd health ニュース報道 to more than 210,000 Nevada 居住(者)s.

"It appears that the 提案するd 法案 will 劇的な 減ずる ニュース報道 and will negatively 衝撃 our 未来 明言する/公表する 予算s," he said in an emailed 声明.

Part of the Obama 法律 was an 申し込む/申し出 to the 明言する/公表するs: If they would 拡大する Medicaid, a 共同の 連邦の-明言する/公表する 保険 program for low-income people, to a group of わずかに higher-income adults, the 連邦の 政府 would 選ぶ up the entire tab in the 初期の years. The 連邦の 株 減少(する)s to 90 パーセント after 2020.

The 拡大 has 供給するd ニュース報道 to 11 million people in the 31 明言する/公表するs that 受託するd it.

The 上院 法案 calls for 段階ing out the 高めるd 連邦の support for the 拡大 by 2024. The House calls for doing it by 2020.

In both 計画(する)s, 明言する/公表するs could keep ニュース報道 for the higher-income adults, but 連邦の taxpayers would not continue to 支払う/賃金 a larger 株 of the 法案. The 上院 法案 also calls for a tighter cap on 連邦の spending in Medicaid 全体にわたる than the House 法案 did. 現在/一般に, there is no 限界 on how much the program will 支払う/賃金 for care for those 入会させるd.

In 新規加入, it calls for extra 連邦の 基金ing to be awarded to 明言する/公表するs for 中毒 and mental health 治療, services covered by Medicaid. Both 議会s would have to agree on 詳細(に述べる)s for the 法案 to be sent to 大統領 Donald Trump.

Trying to keep the 拡大 without 追加するd 連邦の help could blow a 穴を開ける in 明言する/公表する 予算s.

In Oregon, 国会議員s this week passed a health care 税金 ーするつもりであるd to 直す/買収する,八百長をする a $1.4 billion, two-year 予算 赤字 せいにするd 大部分は to Medicaid 拡大 costs. Those costs are rising there and どこかよそで even with the 連邦の 政府 支払う/賃金ing for most of the 拡大, 大部分は because more people 調印するd up than 初めは 推定する/予想するd.

"We 心配する it will be hundreds of thousands of Oregonians that will be stripped of health care under this 提案 ーするために get a 税金 break for 豊富な Americans," said Oregon Gov. Kate Brown, a 民主党員.

That was a 言及/関連 to other 準備/条項s of the 共和国の/共和党の 計画(する) that would 削減(する) 税金s by nearly $1 一兆 over the next 10年間, mostly for 会社/団体s and America's wealthiest families.

In Montana, 20 パーセント of 居住(者)s didn't have 医療の 保険 in 2013. By last year, that was 負かす/撃墜する to 7 パーセント. Gov. Steve Bullock, a 民主党員, せいにするs the higher ニュース報道 率s to the Medicaid 拡大 and said the 上院 法案 would undo that.

Charlie パン職人, the 共和国の/共和党の 知事 in ひどく Democratic Massachusetts, and Tom Wolf, a Democratic 知事 in Pe nnsylvania, had 類似の 関心s. 知事s also said the 法案 could 傷つける 田舎の hospitals and 上級の 国民s who have nursing home care covered by Medicaid.

Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, a 共和国の/共和党の who surprised her party when she decided to 拡大する Medicaid four years ago, is 勧めるing 議会 to save the 拡大, which has 供給するd ニュース報道 to 400,000 Arizonans.

Brewer said cutting Medicaid 結局 will 原因(となる) 私的な 保険 賞与金s to rise because people losing ニュース報道 will 捜し出す 治療 in hospital 緊急 rooms.

"We're going to 支払う/賃金 for it one way or another; there are no 解放する/自由な lunches," she said in an interview with The Associated 圧力(をかける).

A 広報担当者 for Arizona's 現在の 知事, 共和国の/共和党の Doug Ducey, said the 知事 was 熟考する/考慮するing the GOP 法案.

Alaska Gov. 法案 Walker, a 共和国の/共和党の-turned-独立した・無所属, said in a 声明 Thursday that he is still reviewing the 上院 計画(する), but had some worries about how it might 影響する/感情 his 広大な and sparsely 居住させるd 明言する/公表する, where health care costs are high.

"I am 深く,強烈に 関心d about the 可能性のある 影響s of a one-size-fits-all approach," he said.
