Celtics take scorer Jayson Tatum with No. 3 選ぶ in 草案
BOSTON (AP) - The Boston Celtics made the first move of this year's NBA 草案 days before it began when they 貿易（する）d the No. 1 全体にわたる 選ぶ to Philadelphia to build on an already rich （武器などの）隠匿場所 of 未来 選択s.
On 草案 night, they still grabbed one of the most NBA-ready players 利用できる.
Boston selected Jayson Tatum with the No. 3 選ぶ Thursday, 追加するing a 6-foot-8 (2.03-メーター) small 今後 who was a polished 得点する／非難する／２０ing 脅し during his 孤独な season at Duke. The 19-year-old was a third-team All-ACC 選択, 普通の／平均（する）ing 16.8 points while 狙撃 45.2 パーセント from the field.

In the second 一連の会議、交渉／完成する, the Celtics 選ぶd up 今後 半分 Ojeleye from SMU at No. 37, Arizona guard Ka みなす Allen at No. 53 and Cal's Jabari Bird at No. 56.
It was the second straight year the Celtics have chosen third 全体にわたる. Boston selected Jaylen Brown with its first-一連の会議、交渉／完成する 選ぶ in 2016.
Tatum said he feels fortunate to be joining a 競争相手 すぐに.
"It's 広大な／多数の／重要な," he said. "I think that I get to learn that much more, 特に from a 退役軍人 team that knows what it takes to get there. I can't wait to go and learn from coach (Brad) Stevens and Isaiah Thomas and just everybody on that roster."

He wouldn't comment on any of the 可能性のある 貿易（する）s the Celtics were 噂するd to have been 申し込む／申し出d Thursday, but did say "It was a little blown out of 割合; I'll leave it at that."
That won't 妨げる him from revisiting some of those discussions once 解放する／自由な 機関 opens next month, though.
"I think July is the busiest time of the year," Ainge said. "We 心配する 存在 very active to try to 改善する our roster."
Ojeleye looks like the most 約束ing of the second-一連の会議、交渉／完成する 選ぶs, and is another versatile 不快な／攻撃 脅し at 6-7 who has shown an ability to 得点する／非難する／２０ both outside and in the paint.
As part of the を取り引きする Philadelphia, Boston will also receive a first-一連の会議、交渉／完成する 草案 選ぶ in either 2018 or 2019 - giving it even more 取引ing 半導体素子s to 支える its roster.
Tatum gives the Celtics some 即座の rotation 柔軟性, with the ability to play both 今後 位置／汚点／見つけ出すs and defend as many as four positions.

It's probably the biggest 推論する／理由 they have been high on Tatum throughout the 草案 過程 and brought him in for a 私的な work out late last week.
Tatum said he stayed in 接触する with Duke coach マイク Krzyzewski throughout the 草案 過程, and it was Coach K who encouraged him to take the Celtics up on their last-minute 招待.

Josh Jackson, who was selected No. 4 by 不死鳥／絶品, cancelled a workout in Sacramento for Ainge, Stevens and assistant general 経営者／支配人 マイク Zarren over the 週末. Ainge said he was upset about the last-minute 取り消し, but that they didn't 持つ／拘留する it against him.
It made Tatum not the 妥協, but the best fit for a team that's still in position to be a big player in 解放する／自由な 機関 this summer.
"I think that he's a guy that we thought really 高度に of from Day One," Stevens said. "When I 肉親，親類d of got reintegrated into this 過程, 権利 after the season was over, he was one of the guys that it was （疑いを）晴らす that we were 的ing."
