フラン: Macron's party 苦しむs 攻撃する，衝突する in French 上院 選挙

PARIS (AP) - French 大統領 Emmanuel Macron's upstart 中道派（の） party 苦しむd its first 選挙（人）の blow Sunday, as 伝統的な 保守的なs 支配するd 上院 選挙s まっただ中に 開始するing disenchantment with Macron's leadership.

The results 損失 Macron's legitimacy as he 捜し出すs to make his 示す on Europe's 未来 and 乗る，着手するs on a 意見の不一致を生じる labor 法律 精密検査する that he hopes will invigorate the moribund French economy. Truckers 計画（する） to 封鎖する 主要道路s and 燃料 倉庫・駅s Monday in the 最新の show of anti-Macron 反抗.

Macron could still pass his 改革（する）s にもかかわらず the 選挙 result, however. That's because the lower house of 議会 has the final say in 法律制定 over the 上院, and because 国会議員s from the 保守的な 共和国の／共和党のs party support many of Macron's プロの／賛成の-商売／仕事 政策 計画（する）s.

公式の／役人 results from 投票（する）ing across 本土／大陸 フラン showed the 共和国の／共和党のs 明確に winning Sunday's 投票（する） for about half the 議会's 348 seats, followed by the 社会主義者s, 伝統的な 中道派（の）s, and Macron's 17-month-old 共和国 on the Move! party.

A final count 含むing フラン's overseas 領土s is 推定する／予想するd in the coming days.

海洋 Le Pen's far-権利 国家の 前線, struggling with 内部の 争い and muddled 戦略 since her second-place showing in the May 大統領の race, failed to land a 選び出す／独身 上院 seat.

French 放送者s' 発射／推定s 予測（する） the 共和国の／共和党のs having between 146 and 156 seats in the new 上院, while Macron's party is 始める，決める to have just about 22. That's 特に 破滅的な after Macron 圧倒的に won May 選挙s and his party clinched a large 大多数 in June 選挙s for the 国家の 議会, the lower house of 議会.

Macron himself didn't comment on Sunday's 上院 当惑, but 共和国 on the Move! tried to look at the 有望な 味方する.

It 公式文書，認めるd that the party won 上院 seats for the first time since Macron 設立するd it last year, in an 試みる／企てる to attract 投票者s tired of 伝統的な parties and their 失敗 to end chronic 二塁打-digit 失業.

共和国 on the Move! 非難するd the indirect 投票（する）ing system for its weak showing Sunday: 上院議員s aren't chosen by the public but by some 75,000 elected 公式の／役人s across the country. Since Macron's party was only cr eated in 2016, it has scant 代表 の中で those 公式の／役人s. Also, many of them are upset by Macron's 計画（する） to 削除する the 予算s of 地元の 当局.

Macron's party said Sunday's 選挙s were "by nature more difficult for a young political movement like ours," and said that those casting 投票（する）s Sunday "have not yet 定評のある that the French have already moved beyond (伝統的な political) divides."

The lower house has the final say in French lawmaking, but Macron also needs support in the 上院 to follow through quickly on other major changes he has 約束d, 顕著に to 失業 利益s, the 年金 system and the French 憲法.

While Macron has charmed 大統領 Donald Trump and other international 同盟（する）s, the 39-year-old French leader has struggled at home.

Tens of thousands of people 抗議するd Saturday in Paris over Macron's labor 法律 changes, which they 恐れる are 取り去る／解体するing the French way of life. More 抗議するs and strikes lay ahead.

Macron 主張するs the changes - which 減ずる union 力／強力にするs and give companies more freedom to lay off 労働者s - are need to create 職業s and compete globally.

Macron's team is hoping Sunday's 選挙 results don't dent フラン's 影響（力） as he 押し進めるs his 見通し for a 地位，任命する-Brexit Europe in a 広範囲にわたる 政策 speech Tuesday. After months in the スポットライト as the vibrant new 支持する／優勝者 of European まとまり, Macron now 危険s 存在 影を投げかけるd by German （ドイツなどの）首相／（大学の）学長 Angela Merkel, 支えるd by her party's re-選挙 Sunday.
