Turkey's 大統領，／社長 発表するs 操作／手術 in Syria's Idlib
ISTANBUL (AP) - Turkey's 大統領，／社長 発表するd Saturday that the country has 開始する，打ち上げるd a "serious" 操作／手術 in Syria's northwestern Idlib 州 with Turkey-支援するd Syrian 対立 軍隊s, に引き続いて international 成果／努力s for de-escalation in the war-torn country.
The 操作／手術 has been 高度に 推定する／予想するd in the 州, where al-Qaida-linked 闘士，戦闘機s enjoy wide 影響（力）, after last month's 会談 in the Kazakh 資本／首都 of Astana during which Turkey, Iran and Russia agreed on setting up "a de-escalation zone" in the 州.
The 操作／手術 is 目的（とする）d at 結局 鎮圧するing al-Qaida in what may turn into a long and 高くつく／犠牲の大きい war. The 極端論者 group has thousands of 戦う／戦い-常習的な 闘士，戦闘機s and enjoys some popular support in the 州, unlike the Islamic 明言する／公表する group.

Turkey is a strong 支援者 of Syrian 対立 闘士，戦闘機s while Iran and Russia 支援する 大統領 Bashar Assad. Moscow joined the war two years ago 味方するing with Assad while Tehran has sent thousands of Iranian-支援するd 闘士，戦闘機s, tipping the 勢力均衡 in the 大統領，／社長's 好意.
In late September, ロシアの 大統領 Vladimir Putin visited Turkey where he discussed the 状況／情勢 in Syria with Turkish 大統領 Recep Tayyip Erdogan and earlier this week the Turkish leader went to Tehran.
Erdogan said the 操作／手術 was a "new step" to 設立する 安全 in Idlib, 約束ing Turkey would not 砂漠 非軍事のs there.
"Today, there is a serious 操作／手術 in Idlib and it will continue," he said at his 政党's 会議／協議会 in Afyonkarahisar 州 in western Turkey.
答える／応じるing to 新聞記者／雑誌記者s' questions after the テレビ放送するd speech, Erdogan said: "The 解放する／自由な Syrian Army is 主要な an 操作／手術 in Idlib 権利 now," referring to 穏健な 反逆者／反逆する groups in Syria. He 追加するd that the Turkish 軍の was not yet in the 州.
The Britain-based Syrian 観測所 for Human 権利s, which has 行動主義者s throughout Syria, said Turkish 軍隊／機動隊s 除去するd some 塀で囲むs in some areas along the 国境 ーするために 許す 乗り物s to pass. It said Idlib is 緊張した まっただ中に 恐れる of 衝突／不一致s between al-Qaida 闘士，戦闘機s and those of other 交戦的な groups.

Turkey-支援するd Syrian 軍隊s are fighting the al-Qaida-linked Levant 解放 委員会, which is led by the Fatah al-Sham 前線 (以前は known as the Nusra 前線). In the past weeks, the Turkish 軍の has been 派遣（する）ing 戦車／タンクs and 装甲の 乗り物s to the 国境 with Idlib.

"This cannot be 達成するd without 直面するing the Nusra 前線," he said. "The 目的（とする） is to finish Nusra 前線."
Erdogan told 新聞記者／雑誌記者s that Turkey would 供給する 安全 inside Idlib, with Russia on the periphery. Iran, Turkey and Russia reached the 取引，協定 for four de-escalation zones earlier this year as part of their 成果／努力s to 交渉する an end to the Syrian civil war.
Turkey's 公式の／役人 Anadolu news 機関 報告（する）／憶測d that the Turkish "（軍隊などの）展開，配備" would be to reach de-escalation goals rather than engage in 衝突／不一致s with 地元の 民兵 or the Syrian army.

"The Idlib 操作／手術 will 許す us new 率先s on this 問題／発行する," Erdogan said, referring to Turkey's aversion to Syrian Kurdish People's 保護 部隊s or YPG 成果／努力s to link up their 半分-自治権のある 領土s in northern Syria. U.S. 公式の／役人s say that Idlib has become the biggest al-Qaida 集中 since the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks in New York and Washington, D.C.
"We support our 北大西洋条約機構 同盟（する） Turkey's 成果／努力s to 安全な・保証する its 国境s, fight テロ行為, and 妨げる 安全な 港／避難所s for テロリスト organizations," 米国防総省 広報担当者 Eric Pahon said in a 声明. "The Syrian 政権 has 許すd northwest Syria to become a 安全な 港／避難所 for al-Qaida テロリストs that not only 脅す the Syrian people and 地域の 安全, but also support international テロリスト 網状組織s."
