WASHINGTON (AP) - Thousands of 連邦の 従業員s began their 週末s gripped with 疑問, uncertain of when they'll be able to return to work and how long they'll have to go without 存在 paid after a bitter political 論争 in Washington 誘発する／引き起こすd a 政府 shutdown.

INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE

HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT

DEFENSE DEPARTMENT
The U.S. 軍の will continue to fight wars and 行為／行う 使節団s around the world, 含むing in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan. And members of the 軍の will 報告（する）／憶測 to work, though they won't get paid until 議会 認可するs 基金ing.
Mattis said in a departmentwide 覚え書き Friday that "ships and 潜水艦s will remain at sea, our 航空機 will continue to 飛行機で行く and our warfighters will continue to 追求する テロリストs throughout the Middle East, Africa and South Asia."

U.S. INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES

HOMELAND SECURITY DEPARTMENT

INTERIOR DEPARTMENT

NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH
