Will Ferrell's return bumps ratings for 'SNL'
NEW YORK (AP) - 裁判官ing by the ratings, NBC will be happy to 招待する old friend Will Ferrell 支援する to "Saturday Night Live" whenever he wants.
The late-night comedy show reached 7.47 million テレビ視聴者s for this past 週末's show with Ferrell as host, the Nielsen company said. It was the most-watched episode of "Saturday Night Live" this season. Chris Stapleton was the musical guest on the night before he won three Grammy Awards.
The news wasn't so good for the Grammys, which saw its audience slip to 19.8 million テレビ視聴者s for CBS on Sunday. That's 負かす／撃墜する 24 パーセント from last year.
Music's big night was 行方不明の some of its biggest 星／主役にするs, with popular mainstream artists Adele, Beyonce and Taylor Swift not a part of the broadcast. Bruno 火星 was the 最高の，を越す 勝利者 with six Grammys.
The two 網状組織 feel-good series, ABC's "The Good Doctor" and NBC's "This is Us,' showed their strength with 初めの episodes and finished の中で Nielsen's 最高の，を越す five for the week.

Fox News Channel was the week's most popular cable 網状組織, 普通の／平均（する）ing 2.79 million テレビ視聴者s in prime time as it celebrates 16 連続した years 頂上に the cable news ratings. MSNBC had 1.8 million, HGTV 普通の／平均（する）d 1.63 million, USA had 1.57 million and History had 1.48 million.
ABC's "World News Tonight" topped the evening newscasts with an 普通の／平均（する） of 9.6 million テレビ視聴者s. NBC's "Nightly News" was second with 9.3 million and the "CBS Evening News" had 6.9 million.
