Crabtree wrote that he is not 説得するd by the 明言する／公表する's argument that enjoining the Kansas 法律 will 原因（となる） Israeli companies to 辞退する to do 商売／仕事 in Kansas, or with Kansas companies, and thus 害（を与える） the Kansas economy.
The 訴訟 said Koontz, who lives about 25 miles (40 キロメーターs) north of Wichita in Newton, is a Mennonite and the wife of a 牧師. She decided to ボイコット（する） Israeli 製品s and services to "support the Palestinians' struggle for equality."
A Kansas 明言する／公表する Department of Education 公式の／役人 told Koontz in August that she could not be paid as a teacher trainer because she 辞退するd to certify that she was not 参加するing in a ボイコット（する） of イスラエル. The 訴訟 指名するs 明言する／公表する Education Commissioner Randy Watson as the 被告.

"It still 許すs for freedom of speech. It still 許すs individuals to ボイコット（する）," he said. "But any 明言する／公表する can choose to do 商売／仕事 with who they wish."
