US anti-IS office gets （死）刑の執行猶予（をする） as Syria 撤退 加速するs
WASHINGTON (AP) - The 明言する／公表する Department 部隊 監督するing the fight against the Islamic 明言する／公表する group will stay in 商売／仕事 for at least six more months, 逆転するing an 行政 計画（する） for the 部隊's 切迫した downgrade even as 大統領 Donald Trump 圧力（をかける）s ahead with a 迅速な U.S. 出口 from Syria.
A 計画（する） 始めるd by Rex Tillerson before he was 解雇する／砲火／射撃d as 長官 of 明言する／公表する in March would have 倍のd the office of the special （外交）使節／代表 to the 全世界の 連合 into the department's counterterrorism bureau as 早期に as spring, 公式の／役人s said. Tillerson's 後継者, マイク Pompeo, 取り消すd the 計画（する） this month, and the office will stay an 独立した・無所属 （独立の）存在 until at least December, when there will be a new review, said the 公式の／役人s, who weren't 権限を与えるd to discuss the 計画（する） 公然と and spoke on 条件 of anonymity.

Still, the 公式の／役人s said Trump's 意図 to 減ずる the U.S. 軍の and 非軍事の 安定化 presence in Syria has not changed and is, in fact, 加速するing. The 明言する／公表する Department has ended all 基金ing for 安定化 programs in Syria's northwest. Islamic 明言する／公表する 交戦的なs have been almost 完全に 除去するd from the 地域, which is controlled by a hodgepodge of other 極端論者 groups and Syrian 大統領 Bashar Assad's 政府 軍隊s.
At least some of the U.S. money for those 事業／計画（する）s is 推定する／予想するd to be redirected S yria's northeast where IS 闘士，戦闘機s remain, the 公式の／役人s said.
The 相反する moves of 保持するing McGurk's office while pulling out of the northwest illustrate how the 行政 is 存在 pulled in different directions by Trump's two competing 利益／興味s: extricating the U.S. from messy 中東の 衝突s and 配達するing a 永久の 敗北・負かす to the Islamic 明言する／公表する group.
Trump has said the 部隊d 明言する／公表するs will be 身を引くing from Syria "like very soon." In late March, the 明言する／公表する Department, the 米国防総省 and 知能 機関s tried to dissuade him from pulling 軍隊／機動隊s out すぐに, 警告 there was a 危険 IS would manage to 再編成する. Trump relented わずかに, but told 補佐官s they could have only five months or six months to finish off IS and get out.

Yet, as Trump's 行政 注目する，もくろむs an 出口 as soon as IS is vanquished, the broader 状況／情勢 in Syria is not getting any better as far as American 利益／興味s are 関心d.
Assad's 軍隊s are making inroads against the 対立 and now 支配（する）／統制する roads between Syria's three main cities for the first time since the war broke out in 2011. Moscow is solidifying its 影響（力）, even hosting Assad for a surprise visit Thursday to Russia, where he met with 大統領 Vladimir Putin. And an 突発／発生 of direct fighting between イスラエル and Iranian 軍隊s based in Syria has catalyzed 関心s about T ehran's 関与 in Syria and the 可能性のある for a broader 地域の 衝突.
"Hopefully, Syria will start to 安定させる," Trump said last week as he met with 北大西洋条約機構's 長官-general at the White House. "You see what's been happening. It's been a horror show."
