Shaw, Yelich 力／強力にする Brewers past Reds, 5-2
MILWAUKEE (AP) - Travis Shaw and Christian Yelich ホームランd to help the Milwaukee Brewers 打ち勝つ an 早期に 赤字, and Chase Anderson kept the ball in the ballpark when it 事柄d.
Anderson settled in after giving up two 早期に 単独の ホームランs and the Brewers 決起大会／結集させるd for a 5-2 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Monday night.
"This is the big leagues, guys are going to make you 支払う／賃金 for mistakes and they really did for those two pitches," said Anderson, who 許すd 多重の ホームランs for the ninth time this season. Shaw's two-run ホームラン off ホームラン Bailey put the Brewers up 3-2 in the sixth. Jesus Aguilar 選び出す／独身d to open the inning and Shaw followed with his 25th ホームラン, lining an 0-2 pitch into the 権利-field seats.
"I was trying to throw a fastball up and in (on the ホームラン), the same pitch he broke his bat on two pitches before that," Bailey said.
Anderson, pitching on seven days' 残り／休憩（する）, entered tied for the 国家の League lead with 24 ホームランs 許すd and gave up second-inning 単独の 発射s to Eugenio Suarez and Phillip Ervin as the Reds took a 2-0 lead. Anderson then retired the final 14 hitters he 直面するd.
Anderson (8-7) 許すd two 攻撃する，衝突するs in six innings, with six strikeouts and no walks. Josh Hader retired six straight, striking out three, and Jeremy Jeffress pitched the ninth for his fifth save.
"When Chase is leaving some balls in the middle, he's getting 傷つける on them, for sure," Brewers 経営者／支配人 Craig Counsell said. "But, I thought he made some really 質 pitches after that. He had better fastball 命令（する） today, curve ball was better today. He put it together after that really 井戸／弁護士席."
Bailey (1-11) kept the Brewers off the scoreboard until Yelich's 20th ホームラン, a one-out 単独の 発射 in the fifth that made it 2-1. Bailey, who has not won since May 12, 許すd three runs on five 攻撃する，衝突するs in six innings, striking out five and walking one.
"He has not been fortunate, that's for sure," Reds 経営者／支配人 Jim Riggleman said. "The main thing is he is throwing the ball 井戸／弁護士席 and getting us 深い in the game and not wearing out the bullpen. He's doing his part there."
