Student 銃砲規制 支持するs 抗議する outside Smith & Wesson

SPRINGFIELD, 集まり. (AP) - Student 銃砲規制 支持するs and one of the 生存者s of the Parkland, Florida, school 狙撃 on Sunday 完全にするd a 50-mile, four-day march in Massachusetts to the (警察,軍隊などの)本部 of gun 製造業者 Smith & Wesson, where they 抗議するd gun 暴力/激しさ and 武器s 製造業の.

More than 100 抗議する人s 決起大会/結集させるd outside company (警察,軍隊などの)本部 in Springfield. They held American 旗s and 調印するs that read "We Can End Gun 暴力/激しさ" and "調書をとる/予約するs not 弾丸s."

The 行進者s 非難するd Smith & Wesson for making the ライフル銃/探して盗む used in the February 集まり 狙撃 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland. The group wants the company to 寄付する $5 million to gun 暴力/激しさ 研究.

抗議する人s said they also want the company stop making 武器s 無法者d under Massachusetts' 2004 強襲,強姦 武器s 禁止(する). That 法律 mirrors a 連邦の 禁止(する) that 満了する/死ぬd in 2004.

Their 抗議する (機の)カム as news broke of a 致命的な 集まり 狙撃 during a ビデオ game tournament at a riverfront 商店街 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Parkland 狙撃 生存者 David Hogg, who spoke at the 決起大会/結集させる, called the march 権力を与えるing. He said Massachusetts shows how commonsense gun 法律s work.

Manuel and Patricia Oliver, whose 17-year-old son Joaquin Oliver was 発射 and killed in the Parkland attack, also 参加するd in the march.

反対する-抗議する人s held 調印するs across the street from Smith & Wesson supporting the gun-製造者 and the Second 改正, which 保護するs the 権利 to have 武器s. They held 調印するs that read "I love S&W." Others held 調印するs with images of 小火器.

明言する/公表する and 地元の police kept the two 抗議するs separated on opposite 味方するs of a four-小道/航路 road.

Smith & Wesson didn't 答える/応じる to requests for comment.

The company has become a 的 for 銃砲規制 行動主義者s because its 軍の-style ライフル銃/探して盗むs were used not only in the Parkland 狙撃 but in a number of other 最近の 大虐殺s, 含むing the 2015 狙撃 at a California holiday party where 14 people died and the 2012 狙撃 at a Colorado movie theater where 12 died.

U.S. Sen. Elizabeth 過密な住居, who met with some of the students, tweeted that most of the students were born after the 1999 Columbine High School 狙撃 and are 決定するd to come together to fight gun 暴力/激しさ.

"This is how change happens," the Massachusetts 民主党員 tweeted.
