And baby makes three: Prince Harry and Meghan's child on way
CANBERRA, Australia (AP) - They both 手配中の，お尋ね者 children. They knew it was time. Meghan had ended her 事実上の／代理 career and moved to Britain to be a 十分な-time 王室の. Prince Harry had stepped 負かす／撃墜する from the 軍の and 手配中の，お尋ね者 to settle 負かす／撃墜する.
Their marriage was a five-星／主役にする glamour blowout: the みごたえのある Windsor 城 setting, the horse-drawn carriage on a warm spring day, the vintage Jaguar with the 最高の，を越す 負かす／撃墜する, the Hollywood A-listers mixing with real-life 王族.
And now comes the very welcome word that Harry and Meghan, the duchess of Sussex, are 推定する／予想するing their first child in the spring. It is the perfect coda to a May wedding that sent a very （疑いを）晴らす signal that a new 世代 of 王室のs is coming to the fore even as Queen Elizabeth II continues her historic 統治する.
The 高度に 心配するd pregnancy was 発表するd Monday just hours after Harry and the former Meghan Markle arrived in Sydney, Australia, at the start of a 需要・要求するing 16-day visit that also 含むs Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.
Word spread 即時に: International 訪問者s gathered outside Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Guard 儀式 felt they were partaking of 王室の history.
"It's wonderful," said 29-year-old Canadian tourist Braden Fraser. "I was happy about the first couple of marriages and the children coming. I'm glad to see the 君主国 is carrying on. 支援する home we love them, so I'm glad to be here as it's happening."

It's hard to 過大評価する how popular Harry and Meghan have become.
The 34-year-old prince 持つ／拘留するs a special place in Britons' hearts as one of the two children of the late Princess Diana. He had a bad boy 段階 - don't even ask about the naked billiards game in a Las Vegas hotel 控訴 - but redeemed himself with years of 軍の service and a devotion to helping 負傷させるd 退役軍人s.
Harry 伸び（る）d even more 尊敬（する）・点 last year by talking candidly about his struggle with mental health 問題／発行するs 関係のある to losing his mother to a car 衝突，墜落 when he was only 12. No 王室の had ever 公然と 定評のある this 肉親，親類d of frailty, and his 乗り気 to do so in a 企て，努力，提案 to end the stigma surrounding mental illness only raised his stature with the public.
Enter Meghan Markle, who 代表するd a clean break from the 王室の mold. She was not British. She was an American TV actress. She was 離婚d, older than Harry and her mother is African-American.
She captivated Britain. There was an 緩和する to her 確信して smile, and contagious excitement about moving across the 大西洋 and joining the 王室の family.
Meghan, 37, is seen as a modernizing 影響（力） on the at times stodgy 王室の family, and she is credited by many with bringing happiness to Harry.
There are 平行のs between her life and that of Princess Grace, another American who left a successful Hollywood career to marry Prince Rainier of Monaco and start a 王室の family.
When Harry and Meghan got engaged, he was asked about 計画（する）s for children.
"You know, I think one step at a time, and hopefully we'll start a family in the 近づく 未来," he said.
Meghan has also talked about wanting to have children.
"I can't wait to start a family, but in 予定 time," she said in 2016, when she was still starring in the TV 合法的な 演劇 "控訴s."

After their arrival Monday in Sydney, Harry and Me ghan held 手渡すs and walked out an airport 後部 入り口 and into a car. Meghan, wearing skinny 黒人／ボイコット pants and a 黒人／ボイコット, burgundy trimmed coat, was smiling and clutching folders, while Harry gave a thumbs up to bystanders.
The 告示 of the pregnancy （疑いを）晴らすd up the mystery of why Meghan is not joining Harry when he climbs the Sydney Harbour 橋（渡しをする） on Friday to raise the 旗 for the Invictus Games, which he 設立するd in 2014 to give 負傷させるd 軍の 職員／兵員 and 退役軍人s the 適切な時期 to compete in sports such as 車椅子 basketball. The games open on Saturday.
The 王室の baby would be seventh in line for the British 王位 - but he or she won't automatically be a prince or princess.
The children and grandchildren of the queen are princes and princesses - that's why Harry has that 肩書を与える - but this doesn't 適用する to 広大な／多数の／重要な-grandchildren. Same goes for the his or her 王室の highness 任命, though the queen could choose to 介入する on their に代わって.
Instead, the child will likely become an earl if it's a boy or a lady if a girl.
The baby is very ありそうもない to become king or queen, as it will be behind all of William and Kate's children, 含むing 5-month-old Prince Louis. And he or she is likely to get 押し進めるd still その上の 負かす／撃墜する the line of succession as more 王室のs are born.
The child will, however, have the 選択 of becoming an American 国民. That will be up to Harry and Meghan to decide whether to 適用する for a U.S. パスポート for the baby, who will automatically have British 市民権.
