Michelle Williams returns to TV as ダンサー Gwen Verdon

WILLIAMS RETURNS
Michelle Williams is returning to television for the first time in 16 years. She's playing ダンサー and actress Gwen Verdon, whose career aspirations were 取って代わるd by her marriage to choreographer-director （頭が）ひょいと動く Fosse.
Oscar 勝利者 Sam Rockwell plays Fosse in the eight-episode FX series "Fosse/Verdon," debuting April 9.

Williams pointed out a long gap in Verdon's ca reer while she stayed home to raise Nicole, her daughter with Fosse. Nicole Fosse is a creative 顧問 on the series.
Williams said Monday that such gaps are something all working mothers struggle with and called it "a very 複雑にするd 窮地."

FX VS. GOLIATH
Someone is standing up to television's Goliath, with a 目だつ competitor 説 Monday that Netflix is deceiving the public about what is a 攻撃する，衝突する and what isn't.
John Landgraf, the FX 網状組織s 長，指導者 (n)役員／(a)執行力のある who has frequently pointed out the glut of scripted TV, said Netflix is using cloudy 測定s to （人命などを）奪う，主張する 増加するing dominance の中で テレビ視聴者s. It's an approach he said 反映するs a worrisome Silicon Valley arrogance.

"ATLANTA" DELAY
Donald Glover's comedy "Atlanta" will be 支援する. Just not as soon as 推定する／予想するd.
FX 網状組織s CEO John Landgraf said Monday the series is behind schedule. The Georgia-based show was 新たにするd for a third season in June and was supposed to return this year.
Landgraf said the show's writers are working on new episodes. 網状組織 広報担当者 John Solberg 追加するd that the show won't be 支援する in time for Emmy Awards consideration this year.
"Atlanta" has won two Emmys and two Golden Globe awards.

The creator of FX's "Legion" said the time has come to end the series.
Noah Hawley said the 演劇 had arrived at a "natural place" to 結論する the story of David Haller, the Marvel Comics character played by Dan Stevens.
