Sergej Trifunovic has stood out with his outspoken 批評 of Serbia's 政府. Such open political 関与 comes with a price - greater public scrutiny and 猛烈な/残忍な attack s in プロの/賛成の-政府 tabloids.

For the Trifunovics, though, the 抗議するs are the "last chance" to pull Serbia 支援する from the "辛勝する/優位 of an abyss," said Branislav Trifunovic, 41.

"We didn't really need this, Sergej and I. We could have just lived on our comfortable lives and have fun," he said. "But it all 傷つけるs me, all the lies and 巧みな操作, all the stealing, 汚職. It's all an 侮辱 to ありふれた sense."

Serbia spent 10年間s under 社会主義 as part of the former Yugoslavia and then was led by a 国家主義者 大統領,/社長, Slobodan Milosevic, who 開始する,打ち上げるd 多重の wars with 隣接地の 共和国s that 宣言するd independence. A popular 反乱 追い出すd Milosevic in 2000.

Most recently, a 上級の police 公式の/役人 脅すd a 名誉き損 控訴 after he said at one of the 抗議するs that she was "dating a guy who's 取引,協定ing 麻薬s."

"I've been the enemy of the 明言する/公表する for a while now," Sergej Trifunovic joked, 公式文書,認めるing that he took part in ant i-Milosevic 抗議するs during the 1990s' 同様に.

The brothers said they didn't think twice about their celebrity images as they 転換d from entertainment to real-life 関心s with high 火刑/賭けるs. They recently 地位,任命するd Twitter ビデオs of themselves boozing it up and partying, 行為 that many people in this 保守的な country みなす unfit for political 人物/姿/数字s.

"The moment you enter politics and 率直に take 味方するs ... you (土地などの)細長い一片 yourself of half of your audience, who will no longer 見解(をとる) you the same way," Branislav Trifunovic said.

The demonstrations have not appeared to visibly shake Vucic's position, although some 分析家s (悪事,秘密などを)発見する 転換s in the political atmosphere that they believe 燃料 hope changes are possible.

"抗議するs would not have lasted if the 国民s hadn't seen them as a form of 解放する/自由な 市民の 会議," said Teofil Pancic, a columnist for Serbia's 自由主義の Vreme (Time) 週刊誌. "Everything seems the same on the surface ... but in reality, the countdown has started."

Vucic 否定するs 存在 独裁的な and has 示唆するd he might call an 早期に 選挙 in 返答 to the 抗議するs. Beleaguered 対立 leaders have 誓約(する)d to ボイコット(する) any 未来 選挙s that don't 含む 解放する/自由な マスコミ and equal starting position for all 候補者s.

Sergej and Branislav Trifunovic said they want to 身を引く from politics once Serbia becomes a true 僕主主義 with the 支配する of 法律.

"I fight for a Serbia without an 専制政治 ... and once it is done, I will say 'Goodbye, come watch me in the theater,'" Sergej Trifunovic said. "But I won't give up. I will go to the end. I always do."
