大規模な 解雇する／砲火／射撃 （海，煙などが）飲み込むs beloved Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris

PARIS (AP) - A 壊滅的な 解雇する／砲火／射撃 （海，煙などが）飲み込むd the upper reaches of Paris' 急に上がるing Notre Dame Cathedral as it was を受けるing 革新s Monday, 脅すing one of the greatest architectural treasures of the Western world as tourists and Parisians looked on aghast from the streets below.

The 炎 崩壊（する）d the cathedral's spire and spread to one of its 目印 rectangular towers, but Paris 解雇する／砲火／射撃 長，指導者 ジーンズ-Claude Gallet said the church's structure had been saved after firefighters managed to stop the 解雇する／砲火／射撃 spreading to the northern belfry. The 12th-century cathedral is home to incalculable 作品 of art and is one of the world's most famous tourist attractions, immortalized by 勝利者 Hugo's 1831 novel "The Hunchback of Notre Dame."

French 大統領 Emmanuel Macron was 扱う／治療するing the 解雇する／砲火／射撃 as a 国家の 緊急, 急ぐing to the scene and straight into 会合s at the Paris police （警察，軍隊などの）本部 nearby. Paris 大司教 Michel Aupetit 招待するd priests across フラン to （犯罪の）一味 church bells in a call for 祈りs for the beloved Paris cathedral.

副 市長 Emmanuel Gregoire said 緊急 services were trying to 海難救助 the famed art pieces 蓄える／店d in the cathedral.

Built in the 12th and 13th c enturies, Notre Dame is the most famous of the Gothic cathedrals of the Middle Ages 同様に as one of the most beloved structures in the world. 据えるd on the Ile de la 特記する／引用する, an island in the Seine river, its architecture is famous for, の中で other things, its many gargoyles and its iconic 飛行機で行くing buttresses.

Paris 市長 Anne Hidalgo said in a Twitter message that Paris firefighters were still trying to 限界 the 解雇する／砲火／射撃 and 勧めるd Paris 国民s to 尊敬（する）・点 the 安全 perimeter that has been 始める，決める around the cathedral.

Hidalgo said Paris 当局 are in touch with the Paris diocese.

In Washington, Trump tweeted: "So horrible to watch the 大規模な 解雇する／砲火／射撃 at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris" and 示唆するd first responders use "飛行機で行くing water タンカーs" to put it out.

枢機けい／主要な Timothy Dolan, the 大司教 of New York, said he was praying "to ask t he intercession of Notre Dame, our Lady, for the Cathedral at the heart of Paris, and of civilization, now in 炎上s! God 保存する this splendid house of 祈り, and 保護する those 戦う／戦いing the 炎."
