CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Max Homa 貿易（する）d in a shovel for a ladder to get places he always thought he could reach.
Two years ago in his second try on the PGA 小旅行する, he made only two 削減（する）s the entire season and played only one 一連の会議、交渉／完成する on a Sunday. Eight months ago, he was on the 瀬戸際 of going 支援する to Q-school and an uncertain 未来 until の近くにing with four straight birdies to make the 削減（する） in a Web.com 小旅行する event that gave him another 発射 at the big leagues.
It made Sunday all that much sweeter in the 井戸／弁護士席s Fargo 選手権.
In a three-way tie for the lead, in the final group on the PGA 小旅行する for the first time, with Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia 権利 behind him, Homa outplayed them all with a 4-under 67 for a three-発射 victory at Quail Hollow and his first PGA 小旅行する 肩書を与える.

Justin Rose (68) finished alone in third and moved ahead of Brooks Koepka to No. 2 in the world.
Rory McIlroy was primed to join Tom Weiskopf as the only three-time 勝利者s at Quail Hollow, starting the final 一連の会議、交渉／完成する two 発射s behind. He never got anything going until it went the wrong way. He turned a 20-foot eagle 試みる／企てる into a three-putt par on the par-5 seventh, failed to get up-and-負かす／撃墜する on the reachable eighth for a birdie, and then went bogey-二塁打 bogey around the turn to take himself out of the mix.

Homa and Dahmen were at 13 under until Dahmen blinked first. He 設立する a fairway （船に）燃料を積み込む／（軍）地下えんぺい壕 on No. 9, couldn't get to the green and made bogey and dropped another 発射 on the 11th.
