Too much Dolce Vita can get you banned from Rome
ROME (AP) - Too much Dolce Vita can get you banned from Rome, where the 市長 on Friday 勧めるd in a 永久の get-堅い approach on boorish 行為 by tourists and those Romans who 偉業／利用する them.
Exasperated by tourists who frolic in Rome's public fountains, vandalize its monuments and 扱う／治療する its 目印s as their own personal living rooms, the city famous for its artistic 遺産 and 平易な-going lifestyle has had enough.
The Italian 資本／首都's first 人民党員 市長, Virginia Raggi, 現在のd a 法律 banning bad 行為 含むing eating or drinking or climbing on monuments, walking around 部分的に／不公平に unclothed and wading through fountains - the latter 誘惑 made famous by Anita Ekberg, who danced in the city's magnificent Baroque Trevi Fountain in Federico Fellini's classic film immortalizing Rome's carefree spirit.
While many of the 対策 already 存在するd in 一時的な form or were rarely 施行するd, a 全員一致の city 会議 投票（する） on Thursday night made them 永久の. And there's a new 新たな展開: disobeying these 支配するs means 地元の 当局 can 追放する the 不正に behaved from the city's historic 中心 for 48 hours.
"The Rome city 中心 is an area 保護するd by UNESCO, so 明確に our 中心 is our 商売／仕事 ticket," Raggi told The AP in an interview in which she 約束d "無 寛容 for those marring our city."
Rome's 法律 joins a raft of 成果／努力s by tourist-clogged cities around the world to 規制する their 行為 or 限界 their numbers.

Florence last year 問題／発行するd an 法令／条例 calling for 罰金s as high as 500 euros ($575) for 訪問者s who eat on sidewalks or in doorways at meal times 近づく its 目印 Uffizi Galleries. Venice in the past has banned tourists from eating in St. 示す's Square unless they eating or drinking at the square's pricey cafes.
In フラン, the Louvre Museum in Paris の近くにd for a day after 労働者s said the （人が）群がるs were too big to 扱う. In Amsterdam, the city 計画（する）s to 禁止（する） guided 小旅行するs of the red-light d istrict.
Raggi, the highest profile 市長 for the anti-設立 5-星／主役にする Movement, 誇るd that for the first time since 1946, Rome had an "all-encompassing 法律," ending １０年間s of "一時的な 支配するs."
"We don't want people to take a bath, or 廃虚 or dirty monuments anymore," Raggi said from a terrace above her Capitoline Hill office overlooking the 古代の Roman 会議 and Colosseum and their 安定した streams of tourists.
Raggi wouldn't talk politics. But this spring, Matteo Salvini, the 急速な／放蕩な-rising leader of the 競争相手 人民党員 League Party, which is 広範囲にわたって 推定する／予想するd to go for the Italian 資本／首都's City Hall in the next 地元の 選挙, trashed her 管理／経営, 説 Rome had never been dirtier.

Still, Raggi 主張するd that Rome welcomes tourists but 計画（する）s to 認可する higher 罰金s for transgressors.
On Friday, the 地元の police could be seen telling tourists 近づく the Spanish Steps to put their shoes 支援する on and stop drinking beer.
But the city 直面するs an 上りの／困難な 戦う／戦い. On the grand staircase that leads to the Michelangelo-designed square outside City Hall, tourists nibbled on 軽食s, chugged 負かす／撃墜する beer and fed sea gulls chunks of bread as a traffic officer strolled by at the 底（に届く） of the stairs.
Enjoying a 挟む with prosciutto and cheese, Irena Stojimanovski, from Serbia, said she hadn't heard about the new 法律. Watching Rome's 大混乱／混沌とした traffic whizz through central Piazza Venezia, the tourist 賞賛するd the "beautiful monuments, nice and friendly people," and pronounced the food to be 罰金.
Tourists are not the 法律's only 的.
