Ugandan singer Bobi ワイン 計画（する）s to run for 大統領，／社長 in 2021
KAMPALA, Uganda (AP) - Ugandan pop 星／主役にする and 対立 人物／姿／数字 Bobi ワイン said Monday he will challenge longtime 大統領 Yoweri Museveni in a 2021 選挙 "on に代わって of the people."
But ワイン, whose real 指名する is Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, said he is 関心d about his safety after what he believes was an 試みる／企てる on his life last August. His driver was 発射 dead in his car after 抗議する人s threw 石／投石するs at the 大統領，／社長's motorcade.

ワイン said his 目的（とする） ahead of the 選挙 is "to multiply myself in さまざまな young men and women, so that there are as many Bobi ワインs as possible."
Uganda has never 証言，証人／目撃するd a 平和的な 移転 of 力／強力にする since the East African country 伸び（る）d independence from Britain in 1962.
"力／強力にする has been taken away from the people by those that （権力などを）行使する guns, and that's what we want to put an end to through the 投票（する）," he said.

ワイン is "a symbol," a 可能性のある catalyst for change in a country where many young people are 失業 and angry over 公式の／役人 汚職, said Mwambutsya Ndebesa, history lecturer at Uganda's Makerere U niversity. "He can still be symbolically a game changer in a system where the political space has been 狭くするd."

ワイン would be ineligible to run for 大統領，／社長 if he were to be 罪人／有罪を宣告するd of any of those 罪，犯罪s.
"We know that the 政権 is going to try anything within their reach to 封鎖する us from contesting," ワイン said.
Museveni, who is 74 and remains popular の中で some Ugandans, is 推定する／予想するd to run again after 議会 passed 法律制定 除去するing a 条項 in the 憲法 that 妨げるd anyone over 75 from 持つ／拘留するing the 大統領／総裁などの地位.
As the 法案 was 存在 審議d, 安全 職員／兵員 during one 大混乱／混沌とした 開会／開廷／会期 entered the 議会の 議会 and roughed up 対立 国会議員s, 含むing ワイン, who had been trying to 延期する a procedural 投票（する）.

Museveni's party, which 支配するs the 国家の 議会, has 是認するd him as its 単独の 候補者 for the next 選挙. The 対立 is divided, with 退役軍人 対立 人物／姿／数字s frequently attacking each other in public.
Although ワイン's rise as a possible 大統領の 競争相手 has energized the 対立, it also has exposed 不和s の中で the 対立 人物／姿／数字s who hope to take 力／強力にする after Museveni.
As ワイン's stature rose, te nsions grew between him and Kizza Besigye, a four-time 大統領の 候補者 who has been Museveni's most serious 選挙 対抗者. Besigye was 非難するd by ワイン's 支持者s after he 示唆するd that the singer was not yet ready to become 大統領，／社長, 強調するing how difficult it will be for the 対立 to 部隊 against Museveni.
