EU 非難するs 許可／制裁s on Turkey over gas 演習ing off Cyprus
BRUSSELS (AP) - European Union 外務大臣s on Monday turned up the 圧力 on Turkey after 認可するing an 初期の （製品，工事材料の）一回分 of 許可／制裁s against the country over its 演習ing for gas in waters where EU member Cyprus has 排除的 経済的な 権利s.
The 大臣s said in a 声明 that in light of Turkey's "continued and new 違法な 演習ing activities," they were 一時停止するing 会談 on an 空気／公表する 輸送（する） 協定 and would call on the European 投資 Bank to "review" it's lending to the country.
They also 支援するd a 提案 by the EU's (n)役員／(a)執行力のある 支店 to 減ずる 財政上の 援助 to Turkey for next year. The 大臣s 警告するd that 付加 "的d 対策" were 存在 worked on to penalize Turkey, which started 交渉s to join the EU in 2005.
Turkey's 外務大臣 Mevlut Cavusoglu 問題／発行するd his own 警告 last week that his country would step up 演習ing activities off Cyprus if the EU moved ahead with 許可／制裁s.
Two Turkish 大型船s 護衛するd by 軍艦s are 演習ing for gas on either end of ethnically divided Cyprus.
The EU 大臣s repeated the "serious 即座の 消極的な 衝撃" that Turkey's 違法な 活動／戦闘s are having on EU-Turkey relations and called on Ankara to 尊敬（する）・点 Cyprus' 君主 権利s in line with international 法律.

They also welcomed the Cypriot 政府's 招待 to Turkey to 交渉する the 国境s of their 各々の 排除的 経済的な zones and 大陸の shelf.
Turkey doesn't 認める Cyprus as a 明言する／公表する and （人命などを）奪う，主張するs 44% of Cyprus' 排除的 経済的な zone as its own, によれば Cyprus 政府 公式の／役人s. Turkish Cypriots in the east Mediterranean island nation's 脱退／分離 north （人命などを）奪う，主張する another 25%.
Cyprus was 分裂（する） along 民族の lines in 1974 when Turkey 侵略するd in the wake of a クーデター by 支持者s of union with Greece. A Turkish Cypriot 宣言 of independence is 認めるd only by Turkey, which keeps more than 35,000 軍隊／機動隊s in the 脱退／分離 north. Cyprus joined the EU in 2004, but only the 国祭的な 認めるd south enjoys 十分な 会員の地位 利益s.
Turkey 競うs that it's 保護するing its 権利s and those of Turkish Cypriots to the area's 炭化水素 deposits. Cypriot 公式の／役人s, however, 告発する／非難する Turkey of using the 少数，小数派 Turkish Cypriots ーするために 追求する its goal of 発揮するing 支配（する）／統制する over the eastern Mediterranean 地域.
The Cypriot 政府 says it will take 合法的な 活動／戦闘 against any oil and gas companies supporting Turkish 大型船s in any re peat 試みる／企てる to 演習 for gas. Cyprus has already 問題／発行するd around 20 international 逮捕（する） 令状s against three international companies 補助装置ing one of the two Turkish 大型船s now 演習ing 42 miles (68 キロメーターs) off the island's west coast.
The Cyprus 政府 has licensed energy companies 含むing ExxonMobil, フラン's Total and Italy's Eni to carry out gas 演習ing in 封鎖するs, or areas, off the island's southern coastline. At least three 重要な gas deposits have so far been discovered there.
一方／合間, Cyprus' Greek Cypriot 大統領 NIcos Anastasiades will 議長，司会を務める a 会合 of political leaders Tuesday to discuss a 新たにするd 提案 by Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa AKinci to 設立する a 共同の 委員会 with Greek Cypriots on managing 沖合いの／海外の gas 演習ing activities.
Akinci has 繰り返して called for the 創造 of such a 委員会 that he says would give his community a say in how newly 設立する gas deposits off Cyprus' southern coast are managed and 未来 proceeds are divvied up. A 類似の 提案 was made by Akinci's 前任者 Dervis Eroglu in 2011.
The Cypriot 政府 says energy discussions with Turkish Cypriots should be part of overarching 再統一 会談, 追加するing that Turkish Cypriot 権利s to the island's energy reserves are 保証するd. The 政府 says 未来 gas proceeds that will flow into an 設立するd 炭化水素s 基金 will be 株d equitably after a peace 取引，協定 is 調印するd.
