White Sox 活動させる／戦時編成する OF Jim?nez from 10-day 負傷させるd 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる）
CHICAGO (AP) - White Sox 経営者／支配人 Rick Renteria sees Eloy Jim?nez as an outfielder, even after his 最新の 傷害.
Jim?nez was 活動させる／戦時編成するd from the 10-day 負傷させるd 名簿（に載せる）／表（にあげる） Sunday and 挿入するd into the starting 顔触れ for Chicago's matchup with the AL Central-主要な Minnesota Twins. "We're still going to 限界 for him his 外野 play as he continues to throw for the next few days," Renteria said. "But we can at least get his bat in the 顔触れ. He's been doing a lot of work, looks really good. I'm sure he'll be a little bit behind, but getting him 支援する in there, just by putting him in there, creates a presence for us."
The 22-year-old Jim?nez went 0 for 3 in Chicago's 11-1 loss. He struck out looking with the bases 負担d for the first out of the sixth inning.
Jim?nez is considered one of baseball's 最高の，を越す prospects. He is batting .241 with 17 ホームランs and 39 打点s in 68 games.
But his adventures in left field have raised questions about whether his long-称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 未来 might be at DH.

"We want to see if we can maximize his ability to do everything he can as a Major League Baseball player," Renteria continued. "And then time will tell us. But I think 権利 now we're going to continue to use him on both 味方するs of the baseball, for sure."
Jim?nez made no 成果／努力 to hide his preference.

Infielder Jos? Rond?n was 指定するd for assignment to make room for Jim?nez on the roster. Rond?n is hitting .197 with three ホームランs in 55 games with Chicago this year. He was acquired in a 貿易（する） with San Diego in January 2018 for cash.
