Mets acquire Stroman from Blue Jays for 2 pitching prospects
NEW YORK (AP) - All-星／主役にする 投手 Marcus Stroman was acquired by his hometown Mets from the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday for a pair of minor league prospects, a 貿易（する） that makes it likely New York will 取引，協定 away one of its 現在の starters by Wednesday's 最終期限.
A 28-year-old 権利-hander who made his first All-星／主役にする team this season, Stroman is 6-11 in 21 starts にもかかわらず a 2.96 ERA that is fifth-best in the American League. He is 適格の for 仲裁 next winter and can become a 解放する／自由な スパイ／執行官 after the 2020 season.
Toronto received two of New York's 最高の，を越す pitching prospects in 24-year-old left-hander Anthony Kay and 18-year-old righty Simeon 支持を得ようと努めるd Richardson. As part of the 交換（する）, the Mets get $1.5 million from the Blue Jays to 相殺する much of the $2,506,452 remaining on Stroman's $7.4 million salary this year.
The 5-foot-7 Stroman is 47-45 with a 3.76 ERA in six big league seasons. He grew up on Long Island 近づく Mets starter Steven Matz, about 50 miles from Citi Field.
