巨大（な） leap for BVI with first-ever Pan Am Games gold メダル
LIMA, Peru (AP) - It was a 巨大（な） leap: Chantel Malone won the women's 走り幅跳び and the first ever Pan American Games メダル for the British Virgin Islands on Tuesday.
"And it's a gold メダル, not just any メダル," Malone said. "Winning gold is like me putting my 指名する up there, putting my country up there, just to let them know that we're here. Now I have shown that we can do it, too. We're small, but we're powerful."
