PANAMA CITY (AP) - パナマ City on Thursday 示すd the 500th 周年記念日 of its 設立するing by the Spanish on Aug. 15, 1519.
Big blue バタフライs and smaller orange and 黒人／ボイコット ones were 解放（する）d by the hundreds to 示す the day when Pedro Arias de Avila 設立するd the city.
The city's old 中心, known as the Casco Viejo, was 宣言するd a World 遺産 場所／位置 in 2003. The city's 中心 was moved there from a nearby 場所／位置, known as Old パナマ, in the 1670s after a 解雇する／砲火／射撃.
There were parades and folk dancing shows as part of the 祝賀s, and actors dressed up as historical 人物／姿／数字s.
Historian N?stor Sanchez 公式文書，認めるd that now, as then, パナマ City is an important 十字路／岐路, and "just like 支援する then, we are a melting マリファナ of races."
