Germany 勧めるd to fight anti-Semitism to 避ける ユダヤ人の exodus

BERLIN (AP) - Germany's 外務大臣 is calling for 強化するd 成果/努力s against anti-Semitism to 区 off the 可能性 that many Jews decide to leave the country.

Heiko Maas said in an article Sunday for the 週刊誌 Der Spiegel that German 政治家,政治屋s must do more "but there is one thing they can't do: 取って代わる 団結 in everyday life."

"We must 緊急に take countermeasures so that such thoughts don't turn into bitter reality and it doesn't come to a 大規模な exodus of Jews from Germany," he wrote. "That people of ユダヤ人の 約束 no longer feel at home here is a real nightmare - and a 不名誉, 75 years after the 解放 of Auschwitz."

Maas said too few European Union countries have 国家の commissioners against anti-Semitism. He said when Germany 持つ/拘留するs the EU 大統領/総裁などの地位 later this year, it will step up the fight against online hate and 故意の誤報.

He said the 安全 of ユダヤ人の 施設s and communities must be 改善するd throughout Europe. Germany will give the Organization for 安全 and 協調 in Europe 500,000 euros ($551,000) this year to that end.
