湾 Arabs 支援する Trump´s 中東の 成果／努力s, but not peace 計画（する）
DUBAI, 部隊d Arab 首長国s (AP) - A tectonic 転換 in relations 静かに 進行中で for years now was on 十分な 陳列する，発揮する as 代表者／国会議員s of 湾 Arab 明言する／公表するs …に出席するd 大統領 Donald Trump's 明かすing this week of an Israeli-Palestinian 計画（する） that ひどく 味方するs with イスラエル and all but 鎮圧するs Palestinian aspirations.
The audience at the White House, when Trump 現在のd the 計画（する） と一緒に Israeli 総理大臣 Benjamin Netanyahu, 含むd Christian Zionist leaders and 信頼できる プロの／賛成の-イスラエル 支持者s, such as 共和国の／共和党の party 寄贈者 Sheldon Adelson. 一連の会議、交渉／完成するing out the （人が）群がる were 外交官／大使s of the 部隊d Arab 首長国s, Bahrain and Oman, who 提起する／ポーズをとるd for a photo at the White House 儀式 for the 計画（する）, which Palestinians have 完全な 拒絶するd.
For the Arab 視野, however, Saudi Arabia's reaction was the one most closely watched. The kingdom 表明するd support for the Trump 行政's 成果／努力s, but did not sends its 外交官／大使 to …に出席する the 儀式.
The Saudi 返答 was also 重要な for what it didn't say - the kingdom did not 是認する the 計画（する）, but also made no explicit について言及する of long-held Arab 需要・要求するs for a Palestinian 明言する／公表する on 占領するd land with east Jerusalem as its 資本／首都.
Rather, Saudi Arabia encouraged Palestinians to start "direct 和平交渉s," essentially 勧めるing the Palestinians to 受託する the White House's 枠組み as the starting point for 会談.
"The Saudis （手先の）技術d their message to 控訴，上告 to two audiences: their 国内の public and the Trump 行政," Kristin Diwan Smith, a scholar at the Arab 湾 明言する／公表するs 学校／設ける in Washington, said. Their formal 声明, she said, does nothing to 感情を害する／違反する Trump or 阻止する the Israelis.

With the exception of Kuwait, all 湾 Arab countries have engaged in outreach with イスラエル or プロの／賛成の-Israeli 人物／姿／数字s in 最近の years. The 成果／努力 has acc elerated as Saudi Arabia and イスラエル 株 a ありふれた 脅し in Iran.
Avi Berkowitz, a White House スタッフの一員 intimately 伴う／関わるd in 草案ing the 計画（する）, すぐに thanked Saudi Arabia for its 声明. In five separate tweets, he 株d the Saudi 返答, 同様に as an article on the 保守的な Fox News 網状組織 that carried the headline: "Saudi Arabia 支援するs US-イスラエル 成果／努力s to 達成する 中東の peace." That tweet was 株d by Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump, whose husband Jared Kushner was the 長，指導者 architect of the 計画（する）.
目だつ Israeli-American Zionist 人物／姿／数字 Joel Rosenberg, who has led two Christian evangelical 代表s to Saudi Arabia for 会合s with 栄冠を与える Prince Mohammed 貯蔵所 Salman, 述べるd the Saudi 声明 as "やめる 肯定的な."
The 楽観的な spin on the Saudi 返答 強調するs how important the kingdom's support is to any 未来 peace 取引，協定.
いっそう少なく talked about, though, was a second Saudi 声明 published minutes after the first, 発表するing that King Salman had spoken with Palestinian 大統領 Mahmoud Abbas and 断言するd Saudi Arabia's "確固たる 姿勢 on the Palestinian 問題／発行する and the 権利s of the Palestinian people."
Palestinian 公式の／役人s said that during their call, Abbas explained to the 84-year-old 君主 why the Palestinians 拒絶する the 計画（する） and 強調するd the 問題／発行する of Jerusalem. They said King Salman told Abbas that Saudi Arabia supports any 決定／判定勝ち（する） the Palestinians make. They spoke on 条件 of anonymity because they were discussing a confidential 外交の 事柄.
Relations between the Palestinian leadership and Trump fell out after he 認めるd Jerusalem as イスラエル´s 資本／首都 and moved the U.S. 大使館 there. In a show of support for Palestinians that year, King Salman 改名するd the 2018 アラブ連盟 会議／協議会 "The Jerusalem 会議／協議会" and 誓約（する）d $200 million in 援助（する） for Palestinians.
Still, Saudi Arabia appears to have 棚上げにするd its own Arab Peace 率先, drawn up in 2002, that 申し込む／申し出s イスラエル normal 関係 with Arab 明言する／公表するs in retur n for Palestinian statehood on 領土 逮捕（する）d in 1967 - a 計画（する） that now starkly 否定するs the White House's 詳細な計画.
The U.S. 計画（する） skews in 好意 of イスラエル and shunts many of the Palestinians´ 核心 需要・要求するs by keeping some 750,000 ユダヤ人の 植民／開拓者s in place, 認めるing イスラエル's 主権，独立 of the 戦略の Jordan Valley, and 主張するing Jerusalem as the "分割されない 資本／首都" of イスラエル.
Saudi Arabia's position has 転換d with the rise to 力／強力にする of the king's son, Prince Mohammed. Unlike his father's 世代, the 34-year-old 栄冠を与える prince appears まず第一に／本来 関心d with 妨害するing Iran and not with defending the Palestinian 原因（となる）.
Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain have sought の近くに 関係 with Trump and have used interfaith 成果／努力s to build 関係 with his evangelical base and プロの／賛成の-Israeli Jews, 主として to 反対する Iran´s 足跡 in the 地域.
As Trump （選挙などの）運動をするs for re-選挙, he's counting on his base of Christian evangelicals, who 持つ／拘留する support for イスラエル at the very 核心 of their 約束. Most believe the return of the Messiah can take place only after the ユダヤ人の 寺 開始する is rebuilt on the 場所／位置 of the Al-Aqsa イスラム教寺院 構内／化合物 in east Jerusalem.
Bahrain last year hosted a White House workshop to shore up 湾 Arab 財政上の incentives that could 支持を得ようと努める the Palestinians to 支援する the 計画（する）. Oman, which has 関係 with Iran, hosted the Israeli 首相 in a surprise visit last year that served to remind Washington of its unique ability to be a conduit for 会談.
The extent of 湾 Arab 関係 with イスラエル is still mostly kept 私的な, though. Saudi Arabia and the UAE have 恐らく used Israeli spyware to go after 政府 critics.
In an interview with the Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya news channel this week, Kushner 強調するd the 脅し of Iran as he tried to the sell the channel's pan-Arab audience on his 計画（する）.
"The biggest 脅し 権利 now is not イスラエル," he said. "Iran is the big 脅し, Iran is who´s 狙撃 ロケット／急騰するs at your airports and 狙撃 ロケット／急騰するs at your palaces."
"イスラエル could be the biggest 同盟（する） to Saudi Arabia ーに関して／ーの点でs of helping them have more 前進するd 科学（工学）技術 and 弁護 and 存在 安全な," Kushner said.
Saudi Arabia this week rebuffed suggestions again it could 標準的にする／正常にする 関係 with イスラエル before Palestinians reach a 解決／入植地. That's in part because Saudi kings have long used their custodianship of Islam's holiest 場所／位置s to 争う for 観念的な 最高位 over 競争相手s Turkey and Iran. Each has 歴史的に competed to show their 弁護 of イスラム教徒 （人命などを）奪う，主張するs to Jerusalem.
返答s to the White House 計画（する） fell along these political fault lines once again. Turkey's 外務大臣 Mevlut Cavusoglu 警告するd that "Jerusalem is our red line" while his Iranian 相当するもの, Mohammed Javad Zarif, told イスラム教徒s "to wake up" and 拒絶する any notion of the U.S. as an honest 仲買人.
A column in the Saudi Al-Riyadh newspaper said Turkey and Iran could try to use the moment to 伸び（る） political and social advantage through スローガンs of 抵抗 to Trump's 計画（する） in the 指名する of Islam and Palestinian 権利s.
目だつ Saudi writer Abdulrahman al-無分別なd, who has の近くに 関係 with the kingdom's 栄冠を与える prince, penned a column carried by several Saudi-owned news 出口s 勧めるing Palestinians to "しっかり掴む this 適切な時期 to begin 会談."
"The greatest danger to Palestinian 利益／興味s now is to do nothing and continue waiting for a 奇蹟," he wrote.
