US 軍の 長，指導者 in Africa argues for 決定的な US presence
DAKAR, Senegal (AP) - The 長，率いる of U.S. 軍の 軍隊s in Africa argued Thursday against 軍隊／機動隊 削減（する）s on the 広大な and にわか景気ing continent, 説 戦略の 共同s in 戦闘ing a growing 極端論者 脅し and assertive Chinese and ロシアの 影響（力） cannot be sacrificed.

Some of the groups 脅す the U.S. 母国, the U.S. Africa 命令（する） 長，指導者 警告するd, 含むing the Somalia-based al-Shabab.
The U.S. 軍の 現在／一般に has about 6,000 職員／兵員 across Africa, with about 4,000 位置を示すd at the only U.S. 永久の 軍の base on the continent in the Horn of Africa nation of Djibouti - a short distance from 中国's first overseas 軍の base. Another nearly 1,300 U.S. 職員／兵員 are in the Sahel, the 広大な 地域 just south of the Sahara 砂漠.
