MIAMI (AP) - The Miami イルカs 現れるd from the NFL wilderness this week by 追加するing 11 草案 選ぶs to their roster, 含むing a 可能性のある franchise quarterback, and a 退役軍人 running 支援する with a career 普通の／平均（する） of 5.0 yards per carry.
Even so, they may still be at least a year away from プレーオフ 論争.
That´s partly because last season's team was so bereft of talent, and partly because of the type of players Miami 草案d, 特に with the 最高の，を越す two 選ぶs. Neither is likely to start when the 2020 season begins.
No. 5 全体にわたる choice Tua Tagovailoa is still 回復するing from a hip 傷害 that ended his Alabama career in 中央の-November, and he might spend most or all of his 新人 year as an understudy to returning starter Ryan Fitzpatrick.

"Games aren´t won in March and April," coach Brian Flores said. "A lot of hard work has to be done for us to become a good team."

"I'm just blessed for the 適切な時期 to play with him," said Georgia guard Solomon Kindley, a fourth-一連の会議、交渉／完成する 選ぶ. "I'm going to do whatever I can to 保護する him."
New long snapper Blake Ferguson of Louisiana 明言する／公表する is also looking 今後 to teaming with Tagovailoa - and trash-talking him. After Miami selected Ferguson, he tweeted a photo of LSU's 46-41 勝利，勝つ over Alabama last season.
"See you in Miami @Tuaamann," Ferguson tweeted.
With their last 選ぶ, the イルカs made 海軍's Malcolm Perry the only player from a service 学院 to be selected. Perry played quarterback the past two seasons, but he'll likely get a tryout as a receiver and kick returner in Miami.
The イルカs 演説（する）／住所d by a 優先 by acquiring running 支援する Matt Breida from the San Francisco 49ers for a fifth-一連の会議、交渉／完成する 草案 選ぶ Saturday. Breida totaled 1,902 yards 急ぐing in three years with the 49ers, and with 解放する／自由な スパイ／執行官 取得／買収 Jordan Howard, he should 昇格 a ground game that 階級d last in the NFL in 2019.
The イルカs are positioned to 得る another 草案 大当り in 2021, when they have two 選ぶs in the first 一連の会議、交渉／完成する and two in the second. But they're already 関連した again, thanks to their most consequential 草案 in many years, and the resulting buzz created by all the new 直面するs, 特に Tagovailoa.
"I´m going to go out there and compete as if I´m 準備するing to be the starter," Tagovailoa said, "even if I´m not going to be the starter 権利 away or the entire season."
On the final day of the 草案, they 追加するd five players - Kindley, North Carolina 防御の lineman Jason Strowbridge and Boise 明言する／公表する linebacker Curtis Weaver in the fifth 一連の会議、交渉／完成する, Ferguson in the sixth 一連の会議、交渉／完成する, and Perry in the seventh 一連の会議、交渉／完成する.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, it's unknown when the イルカs will get the first up-の近くに look at their many newcomers. Flores, like all coaches, is antsy.
"We´ve got to get out there," he said. "We´ve got to practice. We´ve got to get into 会合s, get into walk-throughs. We´re a long way off from that, given what´s going on. Hopefully we get that going at some point, but 明白に there are a lot more 圧力（をかける）ing 問題／発行するs out there."
