LPGA 押し進めるs 支援する schedule to 中央の-July in hopes of 安全な start
The LPGA 小旅行する bought itself an extra month to make sure it's 安全な to 再開する playing, 解放（する）ing a new schedule that could end with two of its biggest events and finish five days before Christmas.
The LPGA hopes to 再開する on July 15-18 at a team event in Michigan and play every week except for the week of the Masters (Nov. 12-15) and Thanksgiving until the season ends in blockbuster fashion - the U.S. Women's Open followed by the CME Group 小旅行する 選手権, with a 連合させるd $10.5 million in prize money.
LPGA Commissioner マイク Whan said he was more 利益／興味d in 存在 安全な than 存在 first to 再開する.
"As long as we can pull off the schedule now we put in 前線 of us, the season can be really busy," he said Wednesday. "There's still over $56 million up for 得る，とらえるs, and we're going to play for almost $2.7 million every time we tee it up. ... にもかかわらず an awful lot of cat herding in the last eight weeks, I feel like we're at a place now where we can still 供給する 適切な時期."
The 中央の-July start, however, means there's nowhere to put tournaments if there's another 延期する. The UL International 栄冠を与える was の中で five tournaments 取り消すd for the year - the International 栄冠を与える will stick to its biennial schedule and 再開する in 2022 - but the 小旅行する has lost only nine tournaments 予定 to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Any more 延期するs likely would mean a hybrid season that ends in 2021.

In an unusual show of 協調, Whan said, 肩書を与える sponsors who will not have tournaments this y ear have 申し込む／申し出d to 上げる prize money at tournaments still on the schedule, 主要な to the 増加する in prize money.
The LPGA 小旅行する had planned to 再開する June 19-21 with the Walmart NW Arkansas 選手権. That was 押し進めるd 支援する to the end of August. The PGA of America 発表するd Wednesday that the KPMG Women's PGA 選手権 will move from the last week in June to Oct. 8-11 at Aronimink outside Philadelphia.
That means the first major would be Aug. 9-12 - the same week as the PGA 選手権 in San Francisco - with the Evian 選手権 in フラン, and then the Women's British Open two weeks later.
The PGA 小旅行する hopes to 再開する June 11-14 at 植民地の in Fort 価値（がある）, Texas. Whan sees that as an advantage because the LPGA might be able to learn what it takes to get going again.
"I realize that maybe there was a more 積極的な path that we could have taken," he said. "But in our world, I feel like this was the 権利 path. If it turns out that we're a little late to the party - but 存在 late to the party enables us to 利益 from some of the learning from others - that would be even a lucky strike extra."
Still to be 決定するd is what the LPGA events will look like. The PGA 小旅行する is going without 観客s for at least a month. The LPGA has not decided on fans, instead having contingency 計画（する）s and waiting until the tournament gets closer to decide whether that makes sense.
As for ウイルス 実験（する）ing, Whan said it would be a seven-人物／姿／数字 cost to the LPGA, though he remains 楽観的な that enough 実験（する）s will be 利用できる by then.
"We're not going to get 支援する until we can create an 環境 that's 安全な not just for players, caddies, our staff, but the cities we enter," he said. "We want to make sure the town feels as comfortable as I do about us coming."
Tournaments in 不死鳥／絶品, Honolulu, Los Angeles and San Francisco were 取り消すd, returning to the schedule in 2021. The LPGA 小旅行する 以前 lost four events in the Asia swing, along with one in Virginia.
The Women's PGA 選手権 will have a 132-player field because of いっそう少なく daylight in October. Whan said some fields would be 拡大するd during the summer, while others would 縮む in the 落ちる.
The season would end with the U.S. Women's Open and its $5.5 million purse on Dec. 10-13 in Houston, followed by the CME Group 小旅行する 選手権 and a $5 million purse - $1.5 million to the 勝利者 - on Dec. 17-20 in Naples, Florida.
Even as he tries to get through this financially staggering year, Whan said he hasn't taken his 注目する，もくろむ off the 未来.
"We're going to make some 決定／判定勝ち（する）s that are financially 消極的な in ´20 ," he said. "But they're all made to make sure that we're 最高の strong again come `21, ´22, '23. The only way COVID really 損害賠償金 the LPGA long-称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 is if we 許す it to by only 焦点（を合わせる）ing on 2020."
