Trump not ready to commit to 選挙 results if he loses

WASHINGTON (AP) - 大統領 Donald Trump is 辞退するing to 公然と commit to 受託するing the results of the 近づいている White House 選挙, 解任するing a 類似の 脅し he made weeks before the 2016 投票(する), as he scoffs at 投票s showing him lagging behind 民主党員 Joe Biden. Trump says it's too 早期に to make such an ironclad 保証(人).

"I have to see. Look ... I have to see," Trump told moderator Chris Wallace during a wide-範囲ing interview on "Fox News Sunday." "No, I´m not going to just say yes. I´m not going to say no, and I didn´t last time either." The Biden (選挙などの)運動をする 答える/応じるd: "The American people will decide this 選挙. And the 部隊d 明言する/公表するs 政府 is perfectly 有能な of 護衛するing trespassers out of the White House."

Trump also 大打撃を与えるd the 米国防総省 厚かましさ/高級将校連 for 好意ing 改名するing bases that 栄誉(を受ける) Confederate 軍の leaders - a 運動 for change spurred by the 国家の 審議 about race after George Floyd's death. "I don´t care what the 軍の says," the 指揮官 in 長,指導者 said.

The 大統領,/社長 述べるd the nation's 最高の,を越す 感染性の 病気s 専門家, Dr. Anthony Fauci, as a "a little bit of an alarmist" about the coronavirus pandemic, and Trump stuck to what he had said 支援する in February - that the ウイルス is "going to disappear." On Fox, he said, "I'll be 権利 結局." The 部隊d 明言する/公表するs 最高の,を越すs the 全世界の death (死傷者)数 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) with over 140,000 and 確認するd 感染s, with 3.7 million.

It is remarkable that a sitting 大統領,/社長 would 表明する いっそう少なく than 完全にする 信用/信任 in the American 僕主主義's 選挙(人)の 過程. But for Trump, it comes from his 謀反の playbook of four years ago, when in the の近くにing 行う/開催する/段階s of his race against Hillary Clinton, he said he would not commit to 栄誉(を受ける)ing the 選挙 results if the 民主党員 won.

圧力(をかける)d during an October 2016 審議 about whether he would がまんする by the 投票者s' will, Trump 答える/応じるd that he would "keep you in suspense." The 大統領,/社長's 発言/述べるs to Fox are 確かな to 燃料 conv ersation on (ワシントンの)連邦議会議事堂 Hill, where 国会議員s had already been 公表/放送 関心s in 私的な about a シナリオ in which Trump 論争s the 選挙 results.

Trump has seen his 大統領の 人気 erode over his 扱うing of the coronavirus pandemic and in the 影響 of 全国的な 抗議するs 中心d on racial 不正 that 爆発するd after Floyd's death in Minneapolis nearly two months.

Trump 競うs that a 一連の 投票s that show his 人気 eroding and Biden 持つ/拘留するing an advantage are 欠陥のある. He believes 共和国の/共和党の 投票者s are underrepresented in such 調査するs.

"First of all, I´m not losing, because those are 偽の 投票s," Trump said in the taped interview, which 空気/公表するd Sunday. "They were 偽の in 2016 and now they´re even more 偽の. The 投票s were much worse in 2016."

Trump was frequently combative with Wallace in defending his 行政´s respo nse to the pandemic, 重さを計るing in on the 黒人/ボイコット Lives 事柄 movement and trying to portray Biden, the presumptive Democratic 指名された人, as 欠如(する)ing the mental prowess to serve as 大統領,/社長.

の中で the 問題/発行するs discussed was the 押し進める for 卸売 changes in policing that has swept across the nation. Trump said he could understand why 黒人/ボイコット Americans are upset about how police use 軍隊 不均衡な against them.

"Of course I do. Of course I do," the 大統領,/社長 said, 追加するing his usual 差し控える that "whites are also killed, too."

He said he was "not 感情を害する/違反するd either by 黒人/ボイコット Lives 事柄," but at the same time defended the Confederate 旗, a symbol of the 人種差別主義 of the past, and said those who "proudly have their Confederate 旗s, they´re not talking about 人種差別主義."

"They love their 旗, it 代表するs the South, they like the South. That´s freedom of speech. And you know, the whole thing with `取り消す culture,´ we can´t 取り消す our whole history. We can´t forget that the North and the South fought. We have to remember that, さもなければ we´ll 結局最後にはーなる fighting again. You can´t just 取り消す all," Trump said.

Wallace challenged Trump on some of his (人命などを)奪う,主張するs and called out the 大統領,/社長 at time, such as when Trump 誤って 主張するd that "Biden wants to defund the police." The former 副/悪徳行為 大統領,/社長 has not joined with 行動主義者s 決起大会/結集させるing behind that 旗,新聞一面トップの大見出し/大々的に報道する. He has 提案するd more money for police, 条件d to 改良s in their practices.

Trump continues to 主張する that Biden "調印するd a 借り切る/憲章" with one of his 最初の/主要な 競争相手s on the left, Sen. Bernie やすりを削る人/削る機械s of Vermont. At one point in the interview, Trump calls on 補佐官s to bring him documentation to support his 主張. Trump, however, is unable to point to language from a Biden-やすりを削る人/削る機械s 仕事 軍隊 政策 文書 解放(する)d this month by the Biden (選挙などの)運動をする.

Trump stood behind his 誓約(する) to 拒否権 a $740 billion 弁護 法案 over a 必要物/必要条件 that the 弁護 Department change the 指名するs of bases 指名するd for Confederate 軍の leaders. That 名簿(に載せる)/表(にあげる) 含むs Fort Bragg in North Carolina, Fort Hood in Texas and Fort Benning in Georgia.

The 大統領,/社長 argued there were no viable 代案/選択肢s if the 政府 ever tried. "We´re going to 指名する it after the Reverend Al Sharpton?" Trump asked, referring to a 目だつ civil 権利s leader. "What are you going to 指名する it?"

Trump, 74, stuck to a (選挙などの)運動をする 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金 that Biden, 77, is unable to 扱う the rigors of the White House because of his age. As for 投票s showing the 現職の is 追跡するing, Trump 公式文書,認めるd he was thought to be behind for much of the 2016 contest. "I won't lose," he 予報するd.

The 大統領,/社長 and 最高の,を越す 助言者s have long (刑事)被告 Biden of using the pandemic as an excuse to stay in "his 地階" in his Delaware home. Biden has indeed 転換d much of his (選挙などの)運動をする online, but frequently travels in Delaware and Pennsylvania, 組織するing speeches and small 集会s with 投票者s and community leaders that are within 運動ing distance of his home. Biden´s (選挙などの)運動をする says it will begin 再開するing normal travel and (選挙などの)運動をする activities, but only when health 公式の/役人s and 明言する/公表する and 地元の 当局 say it is 安全な.

Questioned about the coronavirus, Trump chided Fauci, the 国家の 学校/設けるs of Health 専門家, and repeated 誤った (人命などを)奪う,主張するs that anybody could get a 実験(する) and that 増加するd 実験(する)ing was the only 推論する/理由 that the U.S. was seeing more 事例/患者s. When Wallace 特記する/引用するd 批評 about the 欠如(する) of a 国家の 計画(する) to 直面する the ウイルス, Trump said, "I take 責任/義務 always for everything because it's 最終的に my 職業, too," and (人命などを)奪う,主張するd, "I 供給(する)d everybody."

事例/患者 are rising because people are 感染させるing each other more than they were when most everyone was hunkered 負かす/撃墜する. The 百分率 of 実験(する)s coming 支援する 肯定的な for the ウイルス has been on the rise across nearly the entire country.
