Jeter says 焦点（を合わせる）ing with no fans will be 重要な to success
MIAMI (AP) - Miami マカジキs CEO Derek Jeter knows all about an empty ballpark and says success this season will 要求する adapting to the absence of fans.
Jeter said the 静かな atmosphere will be strange as baseball belatedly begins the 2020 season Thursday.
"I think pumping in （人が）群がる noise helped やめる a bit," Jeter said. "But it is going to take a lot of 焦点（を合わせる）. The team that is 焦点（を合わせる）d the most and shows the most discipline 最終的に in my opinion is going to be the team that´s standing at the end of the season.

Jeter spoke Wednesday, hours after the マカジキs played their first オープン戦 of summer （軍の）野営地，陣営 against the Atlanta 勇敢に立ち向かうs.
"I don´t think I've ever been so excited to watch a spring training game," Jeter said.

The マカジキs open Friday at Philadelphia and believe they're on the 瀬戸際 of a big leap 今後 after losing 105 games last season.
Jeter has rebuilt the club since his group bought the franchise in late 2017. The minor league system is much 改善するd, and the マカジキs believe the 賄賂 at the major league level is about to begin.
"There is a mindset that I believe is starting to change here in the organization over the last couple of years: You can't 受託する mediocrity," Jeter said. "We preach it over and over. I think you are starting to see that with the younger players coming up, and in the major league clubhouse 同様に."
