Bauer outduels Darvish as Reds blank Cubs 3-0
CHICAGO (AP) - Trevor Bauer 投げ上げる／ボディチェックするd three-攻撃する，衝突する ball into the eighth inning to outpitch Chicago Cubs エース Yu Darvish and 解除する the Cincinnati Reds to a 3-0 victory Wednesday night.

Bauer (4-3) struck out 10 and walked 非，不，無 in 7 2/3 innings while tying his season high with 112 pitches. The 権利-hander dropped his three previous starts, 含むing a 3-0 loss to Darvish on Aug. 29 in Cincinnati.
"That was fun to watch," Cincinnati 経営者／支配人 David Bell said. "We needed a 勝利，勝つ and he did it against a good team.
"In a game like this, when you have two of the best (投手s) in baseball, there was something a little bit different about Trevor. He rose to the occasion."

Darvish had walked a total of eight 乱打するs during the previous seven starts - compared with 58 strikeouts - but 問題／発行するd 支援する-to-支援する, one-out walks in the first. One out later, Moustakas took advantage of a hanging breaking ball for a three-run 運動.
"As soon as Moose 攻撃する，衝突する that ball, I said, `All 権利, I can make this stand up,´" Bauer said. "That was the goal. That helped lock me in."
HEYWARD RETURNS
