Japan 対立 再会させるs as 与党 選ぶs new leader
TOKYO (AP) - Members of a Japanese 野党 that 分裂（する） after 総理大臣 Shinzo Abe took 力／強力にする eight years ago are 再会させるing as 憶測 grows of an 早期に 総選挙 に引き続いて Abe's 決定／判定勝ち（する） to step 負かす／撃墜する for health 推論する／理由s.
They are 準備するing a 部隊d 前線 as the 治める／統治するing 自由主義の Democratic Party 計画（する）s a 投票（する） on Sept. 14 to choose Abe's 交替／補充 as party 長，指導者. The 自由民主党's leader is 事実上 保証するd of becoming the next 首相 because of its 議会の 大多数.
The 合併するd group chose Yukio Edano, a former 長，指導者 閣僚 長官, as its leader on Thursday and 可決する・採択するd the 指名する 憲法の Democratic Party of Japan, the 指名する of the party he 以前 led.
The new party 連合させるs Edano's group with the Democratic Party for the People, 同様に as some 以前は 独立した・無所属 国会議員s. It has 149 members, compared to about 400 for the 自由民主党, and would need an 同盟 with 非常に／多数の other 対立 国会議員s to take 力／強力にする.
"We will do our 最大の to become an 選択 for leadership change in the next 総選挙," Edano said at a news 会議／協議会.
The new party said it 目的（とする）s to 改善する an economy 攻撃する，衝突する by the coronavirus, end the country's dependence on 核の 力／強力にする, and 促進する a diverse and gender-equal society with 政府 support for the weak and 貧困の.

It will be 正式に 開始する，打ち上げるd on Sept. 15, just ahead of a 投票（する） in 議会 to 選ぶ the new 首相. The 勝利者 will serve the 残りの人，物 of Abe's 称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 until September 2021.
Abe´s longtime 権利-手渡す man, 官房長官 Yoshihide Suga, is 広範囲にわたって 推定する／予想するd to 勝利，勝つ the Sept. 14 投票（する） for party leader and then the prime ministership.
Support for the 自由民主党 is bouncing 支援する, 明らかに because of 投票者 sympathy over Abe's 辞職 にもかかわらず his 人気がない coronavirus 政策s and a 一連の political スキャンダルs, and 憶測 is growing that Suga will call an October 総選挙.
A strong showing by the 与党 coul d 増加する Suga´s chances of going for a 十分な three-year 称する，呼ぶ／期間／用語 rather than serving as a one-year 管理人.
Abe is Japan´s longest-serving 首相 and led his party to six 国家の 選挙 victories in the absence of a viable 対立.
The 野党 that 分裂（する）, the 中道派（の） Democratic Party of Japan, was formed in 1996 by former 自由主義の 民主党員s and 社会主義者s and went through repeated 離婚s and 再編成するing because of infighting.
It led the 政府 starting in 2009, but lost 力／強力にする three years later over its 扱うing of 広範囲にわたって 人気がない U.S. 軍の base 移転 計画（する） on Okinawa and its 扱うing of the 2011 Fukushima 核の 災害.
It will take time for a new party to shake off the 消極的な image of the short-lived DPJ and 回復する 投票者 信用 as a viable 選択 to the 自由民主党, said Tobias Harris, an 専門家 on Japanese politics at the consultancy Teneo.
"The 野党 does have to find a way to move beyond memories of the DPJ years," he said. "The people will be willing to give them a chance again, but it´s going to take time."
