One 請負業者, Pam Stevens, who´s done 広範囲にわたる work for the GOP, 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金d up to $330 hourly to 追求する ideas like asking 出版(物)s 含むing "Oprah Magazine" and "Garden and Gun" to 令状 articles about Verma. Stevens also seemed to 法案 at least $1,117 to arrange an interview that resulted in a Verma profile in AARP The Magazine, the 報告(する)/憶測 said.

The 請負業者s were "厳選した" by Verma's 補佐官s, the 報告(する)/憶測 said, creating "a 影をつくる/尾行する 操作/手術" that sidelined the communications staff of the 連邦の 中心s for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

The 顧問s' work often had nothing to do with running Medicare, Medicaid and other 大規模な health programs that the 機関 operates, said the 56-page 報告(する)/憶測, which was 支援するd by over 1,700 pages of 文書s. Verma has run the 機関 since 2017.

"Given the 無謀な 無視(する) she has shown for the public´s 信用, 行政官/管理者 Verma should reimburse the taxpayers for these 不適切な 支出s," it said.

A Health and Human Services Department 公式の/役人 called the 報告(する)/憶測 a "political smear" by "far left 政治家,政治屋s." The 声明 by Michael Caputo, the department's assistant 長官 for public 事件/事情/状勢s, did not 否定する any of the 報告(する)/憶測's 明確な/細部 findings.
