Clarke, Karlsson ³ô PGA ¾®Î¹¹Ô¤¹¤ë »Ù»ý¤¹¤ë¡¿Í¥¾¡¼Ôs lead in Boca Raton

BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) - Darren Clarke eagled the par-5 18th ·ê¤ò³«¤±¤ë Saturday for a 10-under 62 and a ³ô of the second-°ìÏ¢¤Î²ñµÄ¡¢¸ò¾Ä¡¿´°À®¤¹¤ë lead in the PGA ¾®Î¹¹Ô¤¹¤ë »Ù»ý¤¹¤ë¡¿Í¥¾¡¼Ôs¡ TimberTech »Ù»ý¤¹¤ë¡¿Í¥¾¡¼Ôs.

Winless on the 50-and-over ¾®Î¹¹Ô¤¹¤ë, the 52-year-old major »Ù»ý¤¹¤ë¡¿Í¥¾¡¼Ô from Northern Ireland had eight birdies in the bogey-°ìÏ¢¤Î²ñµÄ¡¢¸ò¾Ä¡¿´°À®¤¹¤ë at The Old Course at Broken Sound.

"I¡m looking º£¸å to tomorrow.," Clarke said. "Maybe one of these days I am going to have one. Unfortunately, with my S-10 ¥Ó¥¶ ¾õ¶·¡¿¾ðÀª, this is my last tournament, I can¡t play ÉÔ»àÄ»¡¿ÀäÉÊ next week. Let¡s hope I finish the year strong."

Robert Karlsson of Sweden birdied the 18th for a 66 to match Clarke at 13-under 131.

"When you play on the »Ù»ý¤¹¤ë¡¿Í¥¾¡¼Ôs ¾®Î¹¹Ô¤¹¤ë, it¡s just very, very low ÆÀÅÀ¤¹¤ë¡¿ÈóÆñ¤¹¤ë¡¿£²£°ing all the time and very bunched up," Karlsson said. "I¡m trying not to get too caught up in it, play my own game and that¡s going to be the ·×²è¡Ê¤¹¤ë¡Ë tomorrow ƱÍͤË. It¡s a bit of a weird feeling playing without ¡Ê¿Í¤¬¡Ë·²¤¬¤ës ƱÍͤË, so in one way it¡s not much different. I¡m just going to try to °·¤¦¡¿¼£ÎŤ¹¤ë it as a normal day and go out and try to shoot as low as I can."

Clarke overcame a one-°ìÂÇ¡¿ÂÇ·â ·ºÈ³¡¤È³Â§ for Áª¤Öing up his ball on the second fairway, forgetting that preferred lies weren't µö¤¹d in the wet ¾ò·ïs.

"First ·ê¤ò³«¤±¤ë, ȳ¶â. Second ·ê¤ò³«¤±¤ë, É餫¤¹¡¿·âÄƤ¹¤ë the middle of the fairway, ¼¨¤¹d it, Áª¤Öd it up. Oops," Clarke said. "One-ȯ¼Í ·ºÈ³¡¤È³Â§ straightaway. Anyway, ¹¶·â¤¹¤ë¡¤¾×Æͤ¹¤ë it over the »Ù±ç¤¹¤ë of the green, chipped it in for par."

He »Ï¤á¤ë¡¤·è¤á¤ë up the ¤Î¶á¤¯¤Ëing eagle with an 8-¥¢¥¤¥í¥ó¤ò¤«¤±¤ë to 3 feet.

Jim Furyk was a °ìÂÇ¡¿ÂǷ⠻ٱ礹¤ë after a 68. The 50-year-old Furyk won this year in his first two starts on the ¾åµé¤Î ¾®Î¹¹Ô¤¹¤ë.

Ãϸµ¤Î favorite Bernhard Langer, the ¾¡Íø¼Ô in 2010 and 2019, had a 68 to join Cameron Beckman (66), Kent Jones (66) and Scott Parel (68) at 11 under.

"It¡s nice to be in the ÄÉÀסʤ¹¤ë¡Ë, nice to see my »Ø̾¤¹¤ë up there on the leaderboard and not too far behind," the 63-year-old Langer said. "It¡ s playing Á´¤¯ different this year to the years in the past. Where it used to be ²ñ¼Ò¡¿·ø¤¤ and bouncy and shorter, this year it¡s a lot longer, so I¡m struggling a bit more on the par 5s. Can¡t reach them like the long hitters can."

John Daly, tied with Furyk for first-°ìÏ¢¤Î²ñµÄ¡¢¸ò¾Ä¡¿´°À®¤¹¤ë lead after a 64, had a 73 to trop into a tie for 20th at at 7 under. Daly is playing his fourth event since ÌÀ¤é¤«¤Ë¤¹¤ë¡¿Ï³¤é¤¹ing he¡s fighting bladder ´â.
