"The 国勢（人口）調査 Bureau is committed to 直す／買収する，八百長をするing all anomalies and errors that it finds ーするために produce 完全にする and 正確な results," said Deborah Stempowski, an assistant director at the 国勢（人口）調査 Bureau, in a 法廷，裁判所 とじ込み／提出するing last week.
The 国勢（人口）調査 not only decides how many congressional seats and 選挙（人）の College 投票（する）s each 明言する／公表する gets based on 全住民, but it also 決定するs the 配当 of $1.5 一兆 in 連邦の 基金ing each year.

The earliest date the apportionment numbers will be ready is March 6, nearly a month past the Feb. 9 date 公表する／暴露するd last week, as the 国勢（人口）調査 Bureau 直す／買収する，八百長をするs anomalies discovered during data 過程ing, 司法省 弁護士／代理人／検事s said Monday during a 法廷，裁判所 審理，公聴会.
副 Assistant 司法長官 John Coghlan said during the 審理，公聴会 there were no new 不正行為s, but that the ones 公表する／暴露するd last week needed more time to 訂正する.
The 司法省 is 代表するing the 商務省 and 国勢（人口）調査 Bureau in a 訴訟 とじ込み／提出するd by a 連合 of municipalities and advocacy groups in 連邦の 法廷，裁判所 in San Jose, California.

Last week, Biden 発表するd that Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo will be his 指名された人 for 商業 長官, which would make her 責任がある the final 2020 国勢（人口）調査 numbers instead of 現在の 商業 長官 Wilbur Ross, if 国勢（人口）調査 data 過程ing continues past Jan. 20.
The 憲法 明言する／公表するs that the apportionment 過程 is based on "the whole number of persons in each 明言する／公表する." Trump´s apportionment order was challenged in more than a half-dozen 訴訟s across the U.S. But the 最高裁判所 支配するd last month that any challenge was premature.

The 連合 says 司法省 弁護士／代理人／検事s have 繰り返して 辞退するd to turn over 法廷，裁判所-ordered 文書s, and the 連合 is 捜し出すing 許可／制裁s of $5,000 a day until they do so.
"They have done so 正確に so that 被告s `best-国勢（人口）調査-ever!' 主張s ... can never be fully 実験（する）d," 連合 弁護士／代理人／検事s said in a 法廷，裁判所 とじ込み／提出するing.
U.S. 地区 裁判官 Lucy Koh said at Monday's 審理，公聴会 that she was disappointed that the 政府 弁護士／代理人／検事s hadn't produced more 文書s. Koh is 統括するing over the 訴訟, but a separate パネル盤 of 治安判事 裁判官s is deciding whether to agree to the 許可／制裁s.
"I see obstruction and I don´t see 協調 and I don´t think that´s a good look for the 司法省," Koh said.
