Nissan CEO tells Tokyo 法廷,裁判所 Carlos Ghosn had too much 力/強力にする

TOKYO (AP) - Nissan 大統領 Makoto Uchida told a Japanese 法廷,裁判所 on Wednesday that the company´s former chairman, Carlos Ghosn, had held too much 力/強力にする, failed to listen to others, and stayed on for too long.

Uchida said Wednesday that those were factors that led to 財政上の 不品行/姦通 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s for Ghosn. He was 証言するing as a 証言,証人/目撃する for Nissan モーター Co., which as a 法人組織の/企業の (独立の)存在 is standing 裁判,公判 on 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s of having falsified 安全s 報告(する)/憶測s in under-報告(する)/憶測ing Ghosn´s 補償(金). It does not contest the 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s.

Greg Kelly, an American former (n)役員/(a)執行力のある 副/悪徳行為 大統領,/社長 at Nissan, also is on 裁判,公判 on 告発(する),告訴(する)/料金s of failing to fully 報告(する)/憶測 Ghosn´s 補償(金). Both he and Ghosn have adamantly 主張するd they are innocent.

Ghosn was 逮捕(する)d in 2018, but fled to Lebanon while out on 保釈(金). Lebanon does not have an 国外逃亡犯人の引渡し 条約 with Japan.

"I felt ashamed and 哀れな when I learned that something this outrageous was happening," Uchida told the Tokyo 地区 法廷,裁判所 about the 主張s against Ghosn and Nissan.

"The Nissan brand was (名声などを)汚すd, the 労働者s were demoralized, and 信用 for 管理/経営 has been lost," he said.

Uchida said an atmosphere of 恐れる 勝つ/広く一帯に広がるd at the company, with staff believing that challenging Ghosn carried serious 危険s.

"We were only trying to play melodies that sounded good to our boss," he said. "I've been working to try to change that since becoming CEO."

Ghosn was sent to Nissan by its French 同盟 partner Renault about two 10年間s ago, helping to 生き返らせる a company on the brink of 破産. From about 2014, he became いっそう少なく collaborative and the company began to chase sales 容積/容量, setting 極端に ambitious goals, Uchida said.
