Thinner, energetic Kim stands out at North Korean parade
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - At an unusual North Korean parade showcasing 軍の dogs and ウイルス 労働者s in orange hazmat 控訴s, leader Kim Jong Un still stood out by looking thinner and more energetic than he has in years.
During the event that started late Wednesday, Kim, wearing a cream 控訴 and a shiny white tie, 現れるd as the clock struck midnight. He beamed in 返答 to thunderous 賞賛 from performers and 観客s filling Pyongyang´s brightly illuminated Kim Il Sung Square, 指名するd after his grandfather and 創立者 of the nation on its 73rd 周年記念日.
He smiled 広範囲にわたって, waved to the （人が）群がる and kissed children who 現在のd him with flowers before taking his 位置／汚点／見つけ出す on a balcony to 観察する the parade. He laughed vigorously and 拍手喝采する the 行進者s throughout the event, while chatting animatedly with 上級の 公式の／役人s.

Most 専門家s say Kim´s 負わせる loss is more likely a result of 成果／努力s to 改善する his 形態／調整 than an 指示する人（物） of health problems, considering his 正規の／正選手 public activity. It may also have a political 目的.
Kim is 直面するing perhaps his toughest moment as he approaches a １０年間 of 支配する, with North Korea 格闘するing with U.S.-led 経済的な 許可／制裁s over its 核の 武器s, pandemic 国境 終結s that 原因（となる） その上の 緊張する to its broken economy, and food 不足s より悪くするd by floods in 最近の summers.

Yang Moo-jin, a professor at the University of North Korean 熟考する／考慮するs in ソウル, said Kim, with his 負わせる loss and cheerful demeanor at the parade, is likely trying to 事業／計画（する） an image of a "normal 政治家" who engages with the public.
"He's also a husband and a father of three children who is approaching his 40s, so it isn't strange that he would care about his health," Yang said.
Kim´s health is the 焦点（を合わせる） of keen outside attention as the 37-year-old leader hasn´t 公然と anointed a 後継者 who would take 支配（する）／統制する of North Korea´s 前進するing 核の 兵器庫 的ing Asian 競争相手s and the American 母国. "Considering the North´s political system, where the 最高の leader decides everything, Kim´s health is an 極端に important s ecurity 事柄," Park said. "It´s likely there were 内部の 関心s that he was overweight, and it would have been important for Kim to 減ずる those 関心s and 現在の himself as a young and healthy leader who´s 有能な of doing things."
