Majestic ワイン chain 安心させるs 顧客s 棚上げにするs `will remain 十分な´ for Christmas
The Majestic ワイン 蓄える／店 chain says its 棚上げにするs “will remain 十分な” for Christmas に引き続いて a 警告 that 瓶／封じ込めるs of alcohol could be 行方不明の from festive 祝賀s because of the HGV driver 不足.
The retailer, which has more than 200 蓄える／店s across the UK, 安心させるd 顧客s it was 井戸／弁護士席 用意が出来ている, with 20% more 在庫／株 than last year and 1.8 million 瓶／封じ込めるs of ワイン in 倉庫／問屋s ready for the festive season.
It follows the ワイン and Spirits 貿易（する） 協会 (WSTA) 令状ing to 輸送（する） 長官 認める Shapps on Wednesday telling him companies are still struggling to get drinks to 顧客s and 勧めるd 大臣s to do more to 演説（する）／住所 the HGV driver 不足.
The letter was co-調印するd by 49 会社／堅いs and 警告するd of rising costs and 供給（する） chain 大混乱 危険 衝撃ing Christmas 配達／演説／出産s.
Majestic, which was not a 加盟国 of the letter, said it had planned ahead for months to 確実にする they did not run 乾燥した，日照りの ahead of the festive period, 含むing 保持するing its own drivers.

“This Christmas may be the year we see other 地域s rise in prominence in the 直面する of 不足s in 確かな areas. For instance, we are 心配するing 記録，記録的な／記録する South African and English sparkling sales, in place of New Zealand and シャンペン酒 それぞれ.
“With the extra 在庫／株 we are bringing in, and the 焦点（を合わせる） on intuitive sourcing from up-and-coming 地域s, we are 確信して this will mean, at Majestic at least, our 棚上げにするs will remain 十分な. It might also be the year our 顧客s discover a host of new 地域s and ワインs we are sure they will love.”
The WSTA letter, however, 調印するd by major brands 含むing Moet Hennessy, Pernod Ricard and Campari, read: “商売／仕事s are still struggling and その上の 活動／戦闘 is needed, 特に now in the run-up to Christmas ? a 批判的な 貿易（する）ing period for our 部門.”

Bosses 警告するd the cost of freight had jumped by around 7% to 保持する drivers and 延期するs at ports were 妨害するing 成果／努力s for 出荷／船積みs to arrive quickly.
The group is calling on the 政府 to 緊急に 延長する the 一時的な ビザ 計画／陰謀 for HGV drivers beyond the end of February next year for a 最小限 one-year period to “緩和する the 重荷（を負わせる） on 産業 and 許す for a 十分な 増加する in 国内の drivers”.
They also want better 大勝するing for freights at ports and more 正規の／正選手 updates from the DVLA on HGV 運動ing 実験（する）s and licences, after a 抱擁する backlog built up over lockdown periods during the pandemic.
