Anti-君主国 group hopes jubilee is `last hurrah´ for big 王室の events
Anti-君主国 （選挙などの）運動をする group 共和国 has said it 推定する／予想するs the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee to be the “last hurrah” ーに関して／ーの点でs of major 王室の events.
The 王室の family took part in a parade 負かす／撃墜する The 商店街 and the Queen appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the first day of festivities.
Thousands of people descended on central London decked in Union 旗 商品／売買する for the spectacle, which 含むd a Red Arrows flypast, while people celebrated at street parties across the country.
Graham Smith, 長，指導者 (n)役員／(a)執行力のある of 共和国, which wants the 君主国 to be 廃止するd, said such 祝賀s can take place “with or without the 君主国”.
He said: “The jubilee is the last hurrah of the 君主国 in the next few years.
“We always hope that this is the last.
“We are moving from hope to 期待 as it will be a very long time until Charles has a jubilee and hopefully the 君主国 will be 廃止するd by the time George is on the 王位.”
Asked about the 可能性 of the Prince of むちの跡s’s 載冠（式）／即位（式） taking place as a major 王室の event in the next few years, Mr Smith said it will not be the same as the jubilee.
He said: “It will be a political event,” 追加するing that the 載冠（式）／即位（式） will “誘発する／引き起こす 抱擁する 審議” over the monarc hy and is likely to be …を伴ってd by 抗議するs.
“People do not think about Prince Charles in the same way they think about the Queen,” he said.
“That conversation is going to be a very different 事件／事情／状勢.”
On what 共和国’s 支持者s may be doing this 週末, Mr Smith said: “Most people (in general) are not engaging with the jubilee.”
He said they are “just enjoying the 週末” or going away ? as long as their flights are not cancelled.
Asked if 共和国’s 支持者s are 感謝する for the long 週末, he said: “There is no problem with having an extra day off,” but 追加するd: “We can do that with or without the 君主国.
“Italy is dong a very 類似の 祝賀 without a 君主国 to celebrate the day it became a 共和国,” he said, referring to the Italian 国家の day which takes place on June 2 every year.
共和国 started putting up billboards around the country in May, calling on people to “make Elizabeth the last”, as part of its 返答 to the jubilee.
The group is also hosting the International Anti-君主国 会議／協議会 online on Saturday.
