Liz Truss has 誓約（する）d to 削減（する） 税金s “すぐに” if she 勝利，勝つs the race for No 10, a 計画（する） 非難するd by 競争相手 Rishi Sunak as insufficient to help the most 攻撃を受けやすい まっただ中に the より悪くするing cost-of-living 危機.

The two 候補者s 争う to 取って代わる Boris Johnson as 首相 continue to 衝突／不一致 over their 計画（する）s to help families with spiralling 法案s after the Bank of England 警告するd that the UK would 落ちる into the longest 後退，不況 since the 財政上の 危機, with インフレーション 始める，決める to 急に上がる to more than 13%.
There are growing calls for the new 首相 to 緊急に 増加する the 量 of support 利用できる to low-income 世帯s, with a new 報告（する）／憶測 （売買）手数料，委託（する）／委員会／権限d by former 首相 Gordon Brown 示唆するing 政府 help has failed to 演説（する）／住所 their needs.
Ms Truss wrote in the Sunday Telegraph: “I would 攻撃する，衝突する the ground running by bringing in an 緊急 予算, charting a 会社／堅い course to get our economy growing ーするために help 基金 our public services and NHS.
“I would use this to すぐに 取り組む the cost-of-living 危機 by cutting 税金s, 逆転するing the rise on 国家の 保険 and 一時停止するing the green 徴収する on energy 法案s.”
The Foreign 長官 earlier 主張するd 税金 削減（する）s, not “handouts”, would help families with ロケット／急騰するing 燃料 法案s this winter.
Mr Sunak said: “It’s 簡単に wrong to 支配する out その上の direct support at this time as Liz Truss has done, and what’s more, her 税金 提案s are not going to help very 意味ありげに people like pensioners or those on low incomes who are 正確に／まさに the 肉親，親類d of families that are going to need help.”

Ms Mordaunt, a former Tory leadership 候補者 who has thrown her 負わせる behind the Foreign 長官, told Sky News: “It’s not that she’s 判決，裁定 out all 未来 help, that’s a misinterpretation of what she said.
“What she is looking at though is enabling people to keep more of the money that they earn.
“It makes no sense to take money off of people and then to give it 支援する in very, very 複雑にするd ways.
“We need to 簡単にする this and we need to 確実にする that 世帯s are as resilient as possible and stopping taking large sums of 税金 off people is one way of doing that.”
Ms Mordaunt said 税金 削減（する）s “don’t have to be inflationary”, in 返答 to Mr Sunak’s argument that they would その上の 運動 up prices.
In an interview with The Times, Mr Sunak said: “The 優先 for me is to not do things that make it worse and I think putting £40 billion 加える and borrowed money into an economy that’s seeing an インフレーション spiral does 危険 making it worse.

The Sunak 支持者 told BBC News: “You’re going to see energy 法案s going up to almost £4,000 and if you look at the idea of the 税金 削減（する）s, this idea of 逆転するing the 国家の 保険 出資／貢献s, that’s only going to 利益 someone w orking 十分な time on the 国家の living 行う by いっそう少なく than £60.
“Contrast that with whoever the 首相 is, they’re going to get a 利益 of about £1,800.
“So this isn’t the way to help people through this very difficult period.”
上級の 保守的な MP Mel Stride tweeted: “Pensioners typically won’t 利益. 労働者s on Living 行う 伸び（る） under £60 a year. Millions of poorest will get nothing. Rishi’s 権利 we need （疑いを）晴らす 的d support. Get this wrong and we lose next 選挙.”
But former 閣僚 大臣 John Redwood, a 支援者 of Ms Truss, tweeted: “Rishi now wants the 明言する／公表する to spend and borrow more to help with the cost of living. Mr Flip Flop will discover the more you change your message the より小数の people will believe anything you say. He told us if the 明言する／公表する borrowed more we would get more インフレーション so he wouldn’t do that.”
