中国 keeps up 圧力 on Taiwan with fourth day of 軍の 演習s
中国 says it has carried out a fourth 連続した day of 軍の 演習s in the 空気／公表する and sea around Taiwan after US 政治家，政治屋 Nancy Pelosi’s visit to the 自治d island, にもかかわらず international calls to 静める the 緊張s.
The People’s 解放 Army said the 演習s 焦点（を合わせる）d on 実験（する）ing its long-範囲 空気／公表する and ground strikes. It did not say if it will continue the 演習s after Sunday.
Taiwan said it had continued to （悪事，秘密などを）発見する several （製品，工事材料の）一回分s of Chinese 航空機, ships and drones operating around the Taiwan 海峡, which separates the island and 本土／大陸 中国, and “ふりをするing attacks on the island of Taiwan and our ships at sea”.
Taiwan’s defence 省 said it （悪事，秘密などを）発見するd a total of 66 Chinese 航空機 and 14 Chinese 軍艦s 行為／行うing 共同の 海軍の and 空気／公表する 演習s around the Taiwan 海峡. In 返答, Taiwan （軍隊を）展開する，配備するd 空気／公表する 偵察 patrols, 海軍の ships, and shore-based ミサイルs, and said that it will continue to closely 監視する the 状況／情勢.
Taiwan’s 公式の／役人 Central News 機関 報告（する）／憶測d that Taiwan’s army will 行為／行う live-解雇する／砲火／射撃 大砲 演習s in southern Pingtung 郡 on Tuesday and Thursday, in 返答 to the Chinese 演習s.
The 演習s will 含む 狙撃者s, 戦闘 乗り物s, armoured 乗り物s and attack ヘリコプターs, said the 報告（する）／憶測, which 特記する／引用するd an 匿名の／不明の source.

中国 （人命などを）奪う，主張するs Taiwan and ha s 脅すd to 別館 it by 軍隊 if necessary. The two 味方するs 分裂（する） in 1949 after a civil war, but Beijing considers visits to Taiwan by foreign 公式の／役人s as recognising its 主権，独立.
Taiwan’s 省 of 国家の Defence 強調d that its 軍の was 監視するing the 状況／情勢 and had 派遣（する）d 航空機 and ships to 答える／応じる accordingly.
大統領 Tsai Ing-wen has called on the international community to “support democratic Taiwan” and “停止（させる） any escalation of the 地域の 安全 状況／情勢”.
中国 has so far 行為／行うd ミサイルs strikes on 的s in the seas around Taiwan, and sent 軍艦s across the Taiwan 海峡s median line. It has also 削減（する） off defence and 気候 会談 with the US and 課すd 許可／制裁s on Mr Pelosi, the （衆議院の）議長 of the US 衆議院, in 報復 for her visit.
The Biden 行政 and Ms Pelosi say the US remains committed to the “one-中国” 政策 that recognises Beijing as the 合法的 政府 but 許すs informal relations and defence 関係 with Taipei.
The US criticised Beijing’s 活動／戦闘s in the Taiwan 海峡, with White House 圧力（をかける） 長官 Karine ジーンズ-Pierre calling them “fundamentally irresponsible”.
“There’s no need and no 推論する／理由 for this escalation,” she said.
