ツバメ 吊りくさび calls for stronger 消費者 保護s around EU data roaming
UK 動きやすい phone 操作者s should be 軍隊d to make their 支配するs around data roaming in the EU clearer, 消費者 group MoneySavingExpert.com (MSE) has said.
The group, led by 消費者 権利s 支持する／優勝者 ツバメ 吊りくさび, has called on telecoms regulator Ofcom and the 政府 to 強化する the 支配するs after some 地位，任命する-Brexit 消費者 保護s 満了する／死ぬd.
In a new 報告（する）／憶測, MSE 警告するd that because a 範囲 of 合法的な 義務s for 操作者s around roaming ended on June 30 this year, 会社／堅いs no longer have to send 顧客s a text message with pricing 詳細（に述べる）s when they begin roaming; operate a 月毎の cap on data roaming 料金s; or 供給する 保護s against inadvertent roaming.
Some of the UK’s biggest 網状組織s have 再提出するd data roaming 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s in Europe after the UK left the EU.
Mr 吊りくさび said the 動きやすい 操作者s could not be 信用d to self-規制する as some 操作者s had 約束d to not 再提出する roaming 料金s 地位，任命する-Brexit but had now done so, and so called on the 政府 and regulators to step in.
“I’ve no 約束 in 動きやすい 会社／堅いs to self-規制する. When we left the EU, they 約束d not to 再提出する European roaming 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s… yet most of the big 網状組織s have broken that 約束,” he said.

“So our 報告（する）／憶測 calls on Ofcom to not 信用 voluntary 約束s ? we need to 再提出する the formal, compulsory 消費者 保護s.”
MSE’s 報告（する）／憶測 also raised 関心s around different providers using different 鮮明度／定義s of a ‘day’ of roaming, which it said was 原因（となる）ing 混乱 and 危険ing 予期しない costs.
The 報告（する）／憶測 said that while some 操作者s define a day as 24 hours from first use, others define it as anything up to 11.59pm UK the same day, which the 消費者 group claimss means someone who 調印するs up at 11.58pm would only get a minute’s 価値（がある） of data before needing to 支払う／賃金 again.
It says this is not explained in arrival texts.
“We need to 禁止（する） a daily roaming 料金 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金d for use ‘up to 11.59pm’ without even について言及するing in which time zone,” Mr 吊りくさび said.
“Instead, we recommend all providers must define a roaming ‘day’ as a 24-hour period from first use, 明確に explain that in the arrival text, and 警報 顧客s at least an hour before the daily 告発（する），告訴（する）／料金s end.”
