Drivers drag Just Stop Oil 抗議する人s away during London road blockages

Furious 運転者s dragged Just Stop Oil 抗議する人s out of the way as 行動主義者s 同時に 封鎖するd four roads in London on Saturday.

The anti-oil (選挙などの)運動をする group said 61 of its 支持者s walked の上に Charing Cross Road, Kensington High Street, Harleyford Street, just off Kennington Park Road, and Blackfriars Road, and sat 負かす/撃墜する 持つ/拘留するing 旗,新聞一面トップの大見出し/大々的に報道するs, 原因(となる)ing traffic 延期するs, at 12pm.

Drivers dragged 抗議する人s out of the road but they 断固としてやる returned to 奪い返す their places.

One driver appeared to 加速する に向かって them before stopping while another 機動力のある the pavement to get around them.

A 運転者 said: “We’ve asked you nicely, you are doing the wrong thing by 封鎖するing innocent people going about their 商売/仕事.

“Can you please move before we 選ぶ you up and move you?

“You are stopping the wrong people, I’ve got to go 選ぶ my kids up, I’ve got to get my lorry 支援する to work. We can’t help you, go to Westminster.”

Theresa Norton, 64, a 労働 議員 in Scarborough who was supporting the 抗議する, said: “In the grand 計画/陰謀 of things, a half an hour’s disruption is not a 大規模な sacrifice.

“It’s these people that are making the biggest sacrifice, they’ll be 逮捕(する)d, go to a police 独房, they might even have to spend 48 hours in the police 独房, go to 法廷,裁判所 on Monday.

“These are the real people making the sacrifices even though peop le may not realise it.

“We’re doing it for everyone, no people here is doing it out of selfish 推論する/理由s.”

Just Stop Oil said the road blockages follow four weeks of civil 抵抗 by its 支持者s during which the police have made 626 逮捕(する)s.

The 主要都市の Police tweeted: “We are aware of Just Stop Oil 抗議するs in Kensington High Street, Charing Cross Road, Kennington Park Road and Blackfriars Road. Police were すぐに on scene and a number of 逮捕(する)s have been made.
