An MSP who 辞職するd from a 大臣の 地位，任命する over her 対立 to 議論の的になる gender 法律制定 has thanked the “hundreds” of people who have 接触するd her to 申し込む／申し出 support.
Ash Regan’s surprise 辞職 from the position of community safety 大臣 was 発表するd の直前に MSPs began 審議ing the first 行う／開催する／段階 of the Gender 承認 改革（する） (Scotland) 法案 at the Scottish 議会 on Thursday.
令状ing to First 大臣 Nicola Sturgeon on Thursday, Ms Regan said: “My 良心 will not 許す me to 投票（する） with the 政府 at the 行う／開催する／段階 one of the 法案 this afternoon.”
In the 行う／開催する／段階 one 審議 of the Gender 承認 改革（する） (Scotland) 法案, the 法律制定 passed by 88 投票（する）s to 33, with four 棄権s.
The 法案 will 除去する the 必要物／必要条件 for a 医療の diagnosis of gender dysphoria when 捜し出すing a gender 承認 証明書 (GRC), while also 減ずるing the length of time an applicant must live in their acquired gender from two years to three months, with an 付加 three-month reflection period.
The 最小限 age for 適用するing will be 減ずるd from 18 to 16.

Groups 代表するing women and girls have raised 関心s over safety if the 法案 is passed in its 現在の form, but proponents ? 含むing Scottish 政府 大臣s ? have 拒絶するd the （人命などを）奪う，主張するs.
In a tweet on Saturday evening, Ms Regan said: “I wish to thank the hundreds of 選挙権を持つ／選挙人s and others across Scotland who have 接触するd me, supporting my 姿勢.
“This is an 問題／発行する of a 深い 関心 to many and I am touched that some have 株d their experiences of 外傷／ショック with me and their need for 安全な spaces.”
A total of seven SNP MSPs broke with the whip to 投票（する） against the 法案: Stephanie Callaghan, Fergus Ewing, Kenneth Gibson, Ruth Maguire, John Mason, Michelle Thomson and Ms Regan while two SNP MSPs 棄権するd, Annabelle Ewing and Jim Fairlie.

“I 公式文書，認める that at no 行う／開催する／段階 have you approached me ? or indeed the 閣僚 長官 for Social 司法（官） ? to raise your 関心s about the Gender 承認 改革（する） 法案 or the 投票（する） this evening.
“However, in circumstances in which a 大臣 is unable to support the 政府, it is the 事例／患者 that the only 選択s 利用できる are 辞職 ahead of the 投票（する） or 解雇／（訴訟の）却下 thereafter.”
