New buy now 支払う/賃金 later 規則s `始める,決める to 保護する 10 million 消費者s´

計画(する)s to 強化する 支配するs around buy now 支払う/賃金 later (BNPL) lending are taking another step 今後, with the 開始する,打ち上げる of a 協議 looking at how 会社/堅いs would be brought under the 範囲 of the City regulator.

Under 政府 提案s, BNPL 製品s will be 規制するd by the 財政上の 行為/行う 当局 (FCA) and 顧客s will have new 権利s to take (民事の)告訴s to the ombudsman.

An eight-week 協議 is 存在 開始する,打ち上げるd on Tuesday, looking at how 会社/堅いs would need to 従う with FCA 支配するs, 含むing how they would need to (一定の)期間 out the 重要な (警察などへの)密告,告訴(状) about 貸付金s to 顧客s.

BNPL can be a handy way to spread the cost of 購入(する)s, while 潜在的に 避けるing the need to 支払う/賃金 利益/興味.

But there have been 関心s about the 緩和する at which people can build up 重要な 量s of 負債 比較して easily, with many BNPL 製品s appearing at online shopping checkouts. Some people may 結局最後にはーなる borrowing more than they can comfortably afford to 返す.

Under the 計画(する)s, 顧客s will have new 権利s to take (民事の)告訴s to the 財政上の Ombudsman Service (FOS).

The 政府 has 以前 輪郭(を描く)d 計画(する)s to 強化する 支配するs around BNPL 会社/堅いs.

In June last year it said 貸す人s would be 要求するd to carry out checks to make sure 貸付金s are affordable for 消費者s, and 財政上の 昇進/宣伝 支配するs would be 修正するd to 確実にする BNPL 宣伝s are fair, (疑いを)晴らす and not 誤って導くing.

The next 行う/開催する/段階 after the new 協議 will be 法律制定.

A 首脳会議 of banks and 負債 charities is also 存在 会を召集するd on Tuesday, to help 確実にする that affordable credit is 利用できる to people who may struggle to 接近 it.

The 最新の 財政上の 傾向 政策 会議 is taking place at the Money Advice 信用 in Birmingham, bringing together 代表者/国会議員s from the 財政上の services 部門, charities, 消費者 groups and regulators.
